👊🏻🔥 HOME SHOW FIGHTERS – WHAT A DAY TO REMEMBER! 🔥👊🏻

What an absolutely phenomenal day for Artful Dodgers Boxing Academy.

From the very first bell to the final bout, every single boxer who stepped through those ropes showed heart, courage, determination, and true fighting spirit. Some got the win, some didn’t get the decision, and some simply gained priceless experience — but every one of them made us incredibly proud.

This was more than just a boxing show. It was a showcase of dedication, discipline, and the incredible progress our boxers are making every single week.

Archie Deacon

Archie was thrown in with a very strong and physically imposing opponent. We had a clear game plan, and to his credit, Archie stuck to it brilliantly.

Unfortunately, the opponent proved too powerful and the contest was stopped in the second round, but Archie showed tremendous courage and composure throughout. The improvement in this young man has been remarkable, and this experience will only make him stronger.

Stan Martin

What can you say about Stan other than pure box office.

Every time Stan steps into the ring, you are guaranteed excitement, action, and entertainment. From the opening bell to the final seconds, this was an absolute war and without question the bout of the show.

The crowd rose to their feet in a standing ovation — and when even the officials are applauding, you know you’ve witnessed something special.

Stan is an exceptional talent and has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.

Arthur Fooks

Arthur took part in his very first skills bout, and what a performance it was.

In my opinion, had this been a fully scored contest, he would have come away with the victory.

To see Arthur transform from a nervous youngster into someone who can confidently perform in front of over 400 people on one of the biggest amateur boxing stages in Portsmouth is nothing short of inspirational.

Absolute class from start to finish.

Daniel Tagg

Daniel gave absolutely everything in a fiercely competitive contest against an opponent he had previously beaten.

Although the decision went the other way this time, it was a razor-close 50/50 bout that could easily have gone either way.

Daniel showed incredible heart, determination, and skill. Something tells me a trilogy is on the cards — and that would be one worth watching.

Ralph Beck

Ralph delivered a superb performance, dancing around the ring with confidence, composure, and some beautifully timed shots.

His movement was excellent, his boxing was sharp, and he thoroughly deserved the win.

The huge smile on his face afterwards said it all. Moments like that are what boxing is all about.

Raine Wells

After nearly two years out of the ring and with only three weeks of preparation, Raine stepped up and delivered a fantastic performance.

He even put on extra weight to ensure the bout could happen, showing incredible commitment and willingness to test himself.

Although he didn’t get the decision, he boxed brilliantly against a very talented opponent and proved he still has the heart and ability to compete at a very high level.

Ronnie Wood

Ronnie’s performance was one of the standout displays of the day.

He came into this contest fully focused, disciplined, and determined to make a statement.

His footwork was sharp, his positioning was excellent, and he landed clean, effective shots throughout to secure a unanimous decision victory.

If Ronnie continues to apply himself like this, he has the potential to be among the very best next season.

Reggie Urkheart

Although relatively new to the club, Reggie has already made a huge impression with his natural ability and outstanding work ethic.

His commitment to training has been exceptional, and it showed in a performance full of skill, class, and composure.

While the decision didn’t go his way, he conducted himself with maturity and professionalism beyond his years.

A rematch is definitely needed.

Olly Penery

What an incredible debut.

The atmosphere changed the moment Olly made his walk to the ring, with the crowd erupting in support.

He fed off that energy and boxed his heart out to secure a brilliant win in his very first bout.

The progress he has made in just a matter of months has been extraordinary.

Lenny Greg

Lenny may not have got the result he wanted, but he showed tremendous improvement and delivered a cracking performance.

This was only his second bout, and the growth in his boxing ability was clear for everyone to see.

He will learn invaluable lessons from this experience because, as we always say, it is never a loss — it is a lesson.

Mohamid Bentoumia

Unfortunately, Mohamid’s bout fell through on the day, which was a huge disappointment.

He was understandably devastated, but his time will come very soon.

This is a young man with enormous potential, and I have no doubt he will make a big impact when he gets his opportunity.

Olly Wright

Olly faced a very determined and aggressive opponent in his first contest.

He boxed extremely well in the opening round and showed plenty of promise.

As the pressure increased, he found the pace challenging, but that is exactly what first bouts are for — learning and growing.

He now understands the importance of fitness and will return stronger, fitter, and more determined than ever.

A huge congratulations to every single boxer who represented the club.

The standard of boxing was exceptional, the atmosphere was electric, and the support from our sponsors and supporters was nothing short of incredible.

Days like this remind us why we do what we do.

This was a show that will be remembered for a very long time.

Onto the next one. 👊🏻💥
