Our story

Further Forces is an initiative designed to support service personnel who are either preparing to leave or who have recently left the Armed Forces to become teachers within the Further Education and Training sector.

Using a combination of webinar, online content and face-to-face contact, the FFP teaching team guide candidates through four units of study that are designed to enhance knowledge of teaching, learning and assessment.

We support candidates’ employment/placement opportunities and facilitate appropriate information, advice and guidance in order to enable our learners to apply their substantial skills set in the Further Education sector.

We are immensely proud of our programme and look forward to welcoming our new recruits in September. If you or someone you know are interested in being one of those people, please feel free to get in touch.
