Today for lunch, the perfect Autumn meal; a delicious, homemade Macaroni Cheese with vegetables (with a dairy-free option for those who require it) 😋

Our new menu has been devised with the support of our recently appointed PANCo (Physical Activity & Nutrition Coordinator) to ensure that children are being offered balanced and nutritious food each day in line with current advice and guidance.

Our Kingfisher team threw a wonderful party to wave goodbye to the class of 2025 … as another year ends we look back at all of our memories made along the way and wish you all a fun filled future making more memories 💙 📚

We are delighted to announce that our fabulous Charlotte has completed her Level 4 PANCO qualification and has been appointed as Willow Tree's designated Physical Activity and Nutrition Coordinator.

This role sees Charlotte championing health and wellbeing with a particular focus on physical activity and nutrition. Charlotte will he putting her new skills to use in helping us to develop our lunch and tea menus; plan foods to offer for snack; and ensure that every child is being given opportunities for physical activity and exercise suitable for their age and stage of development.

We will also be putting together some resources for parents abour physical activity and nutrition to continue supporting children to lead happy and healthy lives beyond nursery!

As we wave a goodbye to a few of our term time friends and school leavers, we thought what better way to celebrate the Summer term then with a special surprise visit from an ice cream van! 🍦 🚐
A humongous thank you to Pompey Icefor always coming and bring lots of cheer! 😃

Following the addition of our new PANCO role within the setting, we have changed a few things to make sure we are supporting and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for our children 🥗
One of the positive changes we have made is introducing HOMEMADE chicken nuggets for our Friday treat lunches 💕
… Just as delicious too 😋
