Then, just one month later, we’re turning the volume ALL the way up! An incredible cast of adults and young performers take to the stage for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s high-energy musical based on the hit movie.

Both productions have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes and we cannot wait to finally share them with our audiences!

The Auditions:
Sunday 13th December 2026

Auditions are OPEN TO EVERYONE - you do not need to be an existing Performers Theatre Company student to audition!

Performers must be at least 7 years old and no older than 18 on the performance dates.

The Production:
Friday 4th & Saturday 5th June 2027
Park Community Theatre, Havant

We will be casting TWO TEAMS, with each team performing in three performances across the production dates - six performances in total!

You can still audition! You must complete the registration process as normal but you will be able to submit your audition via email instead.

MATILDA SUMMER SCHOOL - DAY 5! ✨

And just like that… SHOW DAY! 💙

Today we moved into the theatre and brought our Matilda Summer School to an incredible close, and as Principal, I genuinely could not be prouder of what our students achieved.

In just 13 HOURS of rehearsal across the entire week, they created a one-hour production packed with acting scenes, intense choreography, high-energy musical numbers and plenty of technical elements too!

It never fails to amaze me just how much our students can achieve in such a short space of time. The commitment, focus and energy they have shown throughout this week has been fantastic and what they put together on that stage today was quite simply astounding.

To every single student who joined us this week - you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Whether you took on a principal role, danced your heart out in the ensemble, tackled new choreography, learnt lines, sang solos or simply pushed yourself outside of your comfort zone, you all played a part in creating something very special.

A huge thank you to our brilliant team for everything they have poured into the week (Alex, Shelley, our work experience student Alex and student Betsy), and to all of our families for joining us today and supporting our young performers.

What a week. What a show. What an achievement.
