DREAM CATCHERS 🌟 new 3rd venue! 🌟

It is with great pleasure that I can inform a 3rd playschool setting opening its doors at st Coleman’s church - cosham! 👏

This is mainly due to so many enquires that we have had to turn down at our bungalow setting! We have decided to have a overflow setting in the area! ♥️

This will be a term time only setting 7.30-4pm 🙂
We will take from babies up to school age children.
All funding accepted 🙂

However all year round childcare can be offered - as during the holidays they can join our sister setting just up the road 🙂

I’m putting out the information now as we are anticipating quite a bit of interest 🙂 so if you would like to book in already for September then drop us a message or call/WhatsApp/text me directly on 07368222965.

We will be running this setting as we do our other two settings 🙂

- boho style resources and layout
- flexible and family friendly

- and simply wonderful (if I may say so myself!)

We are hiring!!!!!

Dream Catchers Childcare runs two after school clubs, One at court lane infant school and the other at Evelegh Road in the scout hut and this caters for solent infant and junior school.

We have a few positions to fill so can be flexible on working days.

No qualifications necessary but must be amazing with children , hands on and lots of fun!
Safeguarding training will be provided.

Ideal for family's picking up from either school, as your children can come along with you free of charge.

Easter playscheme! 🐣

3rd April- Nerf wars!!!! What team will win?? Adults vs children!!!! Losers get water ballooned!!!

4th April- silly sports day! Can you roll a massive water filled balloon down the hill without it popping? And much more fun, silly games!

5th April- Crazy Easter bonnet parade! Get creative and make a silly Easter hat! Winner wins a prize!

6th April- MASSIVE EASTER EGG HUNT! 🥚 we have got the BIGGEST hunt to date!!

11th April - making miniature gardens!! will you make a fairy, dinosaur, superhero or monster garden???

12th April- LETS GET SLIMEY!!! a day of creating our own slime!!! Scented, glittery, textured! The slime lab will be open!!!!

13th April- our famous crystal maze day is back!!! This time with a twist!!!

14th April- let’s get our groove on!!! It’s PAAARRTTTYYYY DAY!!!

Please note we will have lots of other activities available! So if they don’t fancy the activities on offer they can play, play, play!

We are open 7.30-5.30pm!

Standard day is 9-3pm - £24
Extra hours £3ph

This is the lovely sarah!

We are over the moon to welcome Sarah to our team!

Sarah has over 30 years childcare experience- as well as having teenage and grown up children!

What I love about sarah is how warm and approachable I find her! Nothing is too much and she will go out of her way to ensure she is doing a cracking job!

Sarah has built up some lovely bonds with some of the children already and I’m not suprised as Ild even like to sit on her lap for a story! 😂

She has such a kind and gentle nature and this makes for the perfect practitioner!!

We won’t be letting sarah go in a hurry!

This is the wonderful Carly!!

Now Carly came as a recommendation from Faye! Faye was Carly’s previous manager for 10 years! This means they already have a great working relationship! I can also see why Carly was recommended!! Again Carly is a mother herself so has that maternal and nurturing side 🙂

She may initially come across a tad shy….. but don’t be fooled 😂 she loves getting down and playing with the children and setting up fun activities for them to explore and enjoy!

Carly is an incredibly hard worker, always going above and beyond- staying late and working longer at short notice! The added bonus for me is her OCD tendencies as for any playschool manager this is a dream 😂 When Carly isn’t playing with the children she is busy pottering around ensuring all the toys are sorted, clean and in the best shape for the little ones to access! No wonder she aches when she gets home!!!

So pleased to have Carly as part of the dream catchers family!

This is Faye!!!!

Faye is our manager down at North end setting! Faye holds many years of experiance and this radiates through her practice every single day!

What I love about Faye is how warm and friendly she is and how she just gets the job done ✔️ to the best standard!!

Faye is a mother herself so can sympathise and has great understanding of daily parent struggles and wouldn’t batter an eyelid if a little one arrived still in their pjs!

Faye is a great manager as I feel she is also very approachable, laid back and also likes to have a giggle 🙂 the perfect combo!

Faye is an asset to our team and all the children love her! Xx

Meet the team!!!!!

Now we are up and running!!! Many of you have met or seen us! But thought it would be a good idea for you all to meet the ladies your little ones might be coming home and chatting about!

So I am Leah! I am the owner of Dream Catchers! I have over 20years of childcare experience, ranging from nurseries, nannying, child protection social worker, childminding and much more!!

I opened up Dream catchers in 2016 which was just an after school club! From this we have grown into 2 after school clubs, 2 breakfast clubs, playschemes and now 2 Playschool’s!

I can be very forgetful (so please remind me!!), I’m a little scatty (but embrace it) and despite everything I still LOVE being hands on with the children and helping them make some wonderful memories!

I am so passionate about what I do and I only employ the best of the best!!! I will forever be grateful to every single parent who has trusted us with their little ones!!!

Hello 👋

Any parents who are using 30hour funding or 2year funding before April then please do send over any codes you have 🙂

Any new parents thinking of joining our dream catchers family that get funding we will have to get you booked on before 10th March 🙂 in order to use your funding for this term (up to April!). Then between 10th March and April we will only be able to accept new starters who will be funded by parents 😬

Then from April we will beable to again offer funding places 🙂

This is due to when we have to submit the claims for the funding and deadlines 🙂

If you have already booked your little ones in for April start and you get either 30hours or 2 year funding then again please do ping me over your details of your codes 🙂

🌟 WELCOME MINI DREAM CATCHERS! 🌟

Iv managed to speak to most of all our new starters with regards to starting dates and bits and bobs! But here is a useful list of what to bring along with them - either daily or feel free to leave them at playschool 🙂

🥿 SLIPPERS!!!! A lot of our little ones like to play freely without their shoes on! Staff and children therefore are welcome to slip on some comfy slippers to play in when inside 🙂 feel free to leave with us 🙂

🥪 A packed lunch if staying for lunch - but please please no nuts (peanut butter etc)

👢 wellies! Feel free to leave or bring in some wellington boots! So they can go for muddy walks and play in the garden without spoiling their shoes

🥤 water bottle which we can keep refilling (squash also allowed but no fizzy please 🙏)

🧸 any comforters they might have (teddy, blanket, dummy etc)

👩‍⚕️ any daily medicine or inhalers they may require

👖 spare clothes (especially if potty Trainning!)

😃 and a lovely smile on your your faces knowing they are all going to come along and have lots of love and fun!

Good evening!!!

We have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring Dream Catchers Play School to North End! After months of looking for the perfect venue we have finally found it at the Church of Ascension-Stubbington Avenue! We hope to open our doors in February (just awaiting ofsted).

We will be open Monday to friday 8am- 4pm term time (however we can offer all year round childcare in the holidays at our under 5s playschemes at our sister setting!)

We will be accepting all childcare vouchers, funding and tax free childcare schemes!

We offer a lovely child led play setting and honestly love and treat them like our own!

A day full of smiles, hugs, playing, laughter and memories ♥️
