All around the world day ๐ŸŒ

We visited England๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟwe took turns taking penaltyโ€™s, scoring goals using our gross motor skills and turn taking!

We visited France! ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท
We made a patisserie where the children made triangles to roll into Croissants ๐Ÿฅ and they made long baguettes ๐Ÿฅ–
We also practiced our French by pronouncing different words. This helps strengthen our understanding of the world and different cultures.

We visited Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น making our own necklaces made of pasta of course, with the colours of the flag. Great for our fine motor skills and hand eye coordination.

We arrived at the Canary Islands ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡จ
We are exploring the beach and the waters, finding seashells and talking about their sizes!

Exploring the sand tray and talking about the saraha desert, this links in with our theme travelling around the world๐ŸŒโœˆ๏ธโ˜€๏ธ xx

This week our topic has been Summer โ˜€๏ธ

We turned out mud kitchen into a summer florist, we used our fine motor skills to cut the flowers ๐ŸŒท. We spoke about the different colours of the flowers xx

Summer shells - Using shells to press into playdough and create fossils, using descriptive language to talk about the patterns we can see and the textures we can feel!

To fit with our Summer theme, we made Parasols. We used stamping pads and paint brushes to make marks on the parasol ๐Ÿ–๏ธ and the children helped put the stick through. By doing this, we are expanding our creativity and learning new vocabulary such as โ€œParasolโ€

Shell hunt - Using tweezers to collect the hidden shells, supporting fine motor development, then counting how many are in the bowl and finding the correct number symbol!

We have spent lots of time in the garden with water play, watering our plants and making bubbles and exploring the obstacle courses, having lots of fun!

Next week we will be having lots of fun for our last 3 days at nursery โœจโœจ
