🌟 Sports Day Announcement! 🌟

This Monday (15th June) is our much-anticipated Sports Day, and excitement is building across the school! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our teams — Adaptability, Aspiration, Compassion, Creativity, and Integrity — are ready to give it their all. But which team will come out on top this year? 👀🏆

With determination, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit, it’s set to be a fantastic day of events, cheering, and school pride.

🤞 Let’s hope the weather is kind to us so we can enjoy every moment outdoors!

A new Home Start offer for families in Gosport. 🩷

The weather stayed fine for our Wellbeing Walk around Fort Brockhurst. 😊 We loved seeing how the goslings have grown and how dedicated their parents are to keeping them safe. Our porridge oats were popular today with all the water birds, one duck even ate from our hands.
We all enjoyed the peace and quiet at the back of the Fort, you would never know how close we were to a busy road.
We came back to school feeling lucky that we live so close to this beautiful place. 💚

We are sorry to let you know that, due to the weather forecast, we have made the decision to cancel Sports Day on Monday 8th June.

We know how much the children enjoy this event and how much families look forward to coming along to support them, so we are naturally very disappointed that we are unable to go ahead as planned. However, with the forecast predicting poor weather, we feel this is the best decision for everyone's safety and comfort.

We are hoping to hold Sports Day on Monday 15th June instead. We will keep a close eye on the weather forecast and will update you nearer the time to confirm whether the event can go ahead on this date.

Our boys football team took part in their last game of the season and it was probably the best game of the year.

Winning the league this year meant we qualified to play for the cup. The team was strong throughout the game even taking an early lead. The competition was fierce and we ended up going into half time 2-1 down. It was clear at half time the boys wanted the win and their determination hadn’t faded. They started the second half strong, scoring an amazing goal created by a strong midfield. It was nervous watching the time tick down but with 5 minutes left of the game the ball went into the back of the net, securing us the win! What an incredible way to finish off the season. Well done Team Elson, we are so proud of you and thank you for another year of great football, you certainly are a talented bunch.

Thank you to all who have helped and supported the team this season it hasn’t gone unnoticed and without it our team wouldn’t have achieved so much 🏆

📢 Sports Day Update

We are looking forward to Sports Day on Monday. However, we are aware that the weather forecast is currently looking changeable.

We will continue to monitor the forecast closely and assess the situation tomorrow. A decision regarding arrangements for Monday will be communicated to families by the end of the day tomorrow.
