The Stories We Don’t Always Tell

May is National Share a Story Month — a celebration of the power of stories to connect, teach, and heal.

But the most powerful stories aren’t always the ones we read in books…
They’re the ones we live through. The ones we often carry quietly. The messy, brave, real-life chapters of motherhood, identity, and rediscovery.

💬 Here’s mine:

I wasn’t always the peaceful, confident parent I am today.

There was a time when my world completely fell apart. I was going through a painful divorce, suddenly navigating single motherhood with two little ones who needed me more than ever… while I was struggling to even keep myself afloat.

I felt like a failure. I was frightened, overwhelmed, and diagnosed with depression. I didn’t know how I was going to cope, let alone be the steady, loving rock my children deserved.

But, step by step, I found a way. I transformed my pain into purpose.

My story isn’t perfect. But it’s honest. And it’s proof that change is possible - no matter how loud the chaos or how long you’ve been holding it all together.

If you're in the thick of it right now, please know - you’re not alone, and it’s possible to come out stronger.
