Yesterday, our CEO, Gordon Meadow attended the North Sea MASS Symposium, hosted by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton.

Bringing together leaders from industry, regulation, and academia, the symposium focused on the forthcoming IMO MASS Code and its influence on national frameworks, under the theme “Ready About: The Turn of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships”.

At SeaBot Maritime, we value the opportunity to engage in these discussions, which reinforce our commitment to preparing the global workforce for the future of uncrewed, autonomous, and remote maritime operations.

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of joining fellow 2025 Maritime Solent Awards finalists at the Finalist Reception, hosted at Carnival UK HQ.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with other innovators and leaders shaping the future of the maritime sector, and a brilliant lead-up to the main awards ceremony on 23rd October.

SeaBot Maritime is proud to be a finalist in the ‘Technology Game Changer’ category, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with the wider Solent maritime community next month.

Thank you to Maritime Solent and Carnival UK teams for hosting such a great evening and congratulations to all other finalists. Let the countdown begin!

Great to see our colleague Jamie Phillips featured in Reading Force latest article, which highlights how shared reading can help Armed Forces families stay connected and supported, even during times of separation.

At SeaBot Maritime, we proudly support this mission. As a Gold Level Corporate Sponsor of Reading Force, we’re committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen bonds across tri-service families. Jamie’s story is a powerful reminder of why this work matters: a simple shared book can build resilience, spark conversation, and bring people closer together.
