For some unknown reason this post didn’t upload the first time and we didn’t realise so let’s try again.

The children had a great day celebrating Portsmouth 100. We dressed in Blue and White and they enjoyed a variety of activities including designing their own lion statues, writing what they love most about Portsmouth and of course coming together to make a giant 100 which had to be slightly edited due to Miss Murphy having to create a plan B last minute 😂. We really are so lucky to live in such an amazing city 💙🤍🦁⚽️

The last day of term is Wednesday 22nd July, with the children finishing at 1:30pm.

Please remember that the best way to get in contact with the school is by popping in, giving us a ring or via studybugs. Our messenger on Facebook isnt manned so your message may get missed.
Thank you for your understanding.

We can’t wait to celebrate our city turning 100!
Who’d of thought our city is the same age as David Attenborough!
Letters will be going out tomorrow regarding lunches. Please get the slips back to teachers this Friday!

Due to the continued extreme heat and the weather warning issued in Portsmouth for tomorrow, we are asking that if parents and carers are able to, they keep their children at home tomorrow and this will be authorised.

If you need your child to be at school because you are working, we will be able to look after a small number of children as we are working with a reduced staff due to the closures of other schools. If your child has to be in school tomorrow, usual school hours apply and please come in cool clothing.

We know that the children in the Nest find the heat particularly difficult to manage due to the complexity of their needs, we would really encourage you to keep your child at home tomorrow so they are not further destressed.

Nursery is closed completely.
Stay cool and hydrated and we will see you Monday for a hopefully cooler day!
