Looking for somewhere safe for the children to run around this summer? Come and join us for our FREE Family Picnic Days at Beacon View Primary Academy!
🗓 Wednesdays: 29th July, 5th August, 12th August & 19th August
🕚 Time: 11:30am – 1:00pm
We'll be opening up our school field for families to enjoy together, with:
🏖️ Large sandpit
⚽ Football
🌈 Parachute games
🎲 Fun games and activities on the field
🌳 Plenty of safe open space to play and relax
🥪 Bring your own picnic and enjoy a fun, relaxed afternoon with other local families.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Please note: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. No unaccompanied children will be admitted.

Is your child starting school this September? 🏫

If you have any concerns about their communication, sleep, toileting or other aspects of being ready for school, there are some upcoming free sessions to help families get ready for a positive start to school ✅

This includes our 'getting ready for school' family event at Somerstown Family Hub on Tuesday 18 August from 10am-12pm. Come and try fun activities, such as ‘can you do it’ challenges, get a free goody bag and talk to a range of professionals about getting the best start to school life 🎒

Free school meals eligibility is changing ℹ️

If your family receives Universal Credit, your child may now be entitled to free school meals.
Recent changes mean more families could qualify, so even if you've checked before, it's worth taking another look.

Bank Holiday Monday is coming up.
