We’re so excited to share the progress of our Den and Treehouse rooms! 🌿🎨 There has been so much hard work, creativity and care going into creating these beautiful spaces for our children.

📚✨ Library Adventures! ✨📚

Our Treehouse and Den children had a wonderful trip to the library! 🌟

The children walked beautifully all the way there, showing fantastic listening skills and excellent road safety awareness. We were so proud of how sensible and kind they were throughout the journey! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️💛

Once at the library, they had a fantastic time exploring the shelves, choosing books and discovering lots of exciting stories together. 📖🔎 There was so much enthusiasm as they looked through the different books and shared their favourites with their friends.

It was such a lovely visit, and we're already looking forward to making many more trips to the library in the future. The children certainly can't wait to go back! 😊📚💙

Trip to College Park 🌳🐑🛝

Today the babies enjoyed a wonderful trip to College Park, where they had lots of opportunities to explore, play and discover the world around them. They had great fun climbing and taking turns on the slide, as well as enjoying the swings, developing their balance, coordination and confidence through active play.

The children were also excited to visit the animals, watching them closely and talking about what they could see. They showed curiosity as they pointed, smiled and listened to the different animal sounds, helping to develop their communication and understanding of the world.

Throughout the outing, the babies explored their surroundings with enthusiasm, building their physical skills, confidence and social interactions while making lovely memories together in the fresh air. 🌞🐐🦆

🐌✨ Following the love for Steven the Snail... we have some exciting news!✨🐌

We have two new snails joining the Little Thinkers crew! 💚

Please give a warm welcome to Dave and James, our two Giant African Land Snails! 🐌🐌 They are currently settling into The Nest (our older babies' room) and are already becoming firm favourites.

Just like Steve, they absolutely love munching on cucumber 🥒 and the children are enjoying watching them explore their new home, learning all about how to care for them and observing their fascinating movements.

We can't wait to share lots more snail adventures with you all! 🥒🐌💚

Today we learnt about Steve the Snail! 🤎

The children loved meeting Steve and learning all about him. Some of our little ones were incredibly brave and even held him! 🌟 Others preferred to gently stroke his shell, helping to build their confidence while learning to be kind and respectful towards animals. 💚

We also chatted about what Steve likes to eat (his favourite is cucumber 🥒!) and learned how important it is to keep him moist so he stays happy and healthy. 💦 The children were fascinated by how he moves and enjoyed watching him explore!

It was a wonderful hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity, gentle handling, and lots of questions. Well done to everyone for being so caring with our Giant African Land Snail Steve 🐌✨

📚✨ Today our babies had a wonderful trip to the library! ✨📚

Our little ones loved exploring colourful books, turning the pages, and taking in all the new sights and sounds. 🌈👶💛

They also had lots of fun joining in with Bounce and Rhyme 🎶🪇, where they sang songs, enjoyed nursery rhymes, and took part in actions that encouraged language development, listening skills, and lots of giggles! 🎵👏😊

Visits like these help to foster a love of books and stories from an early age while supporting communication, confidence, and curiosity. 📖💬🌟

We are so proud of how well everyone joined in and can't wait for our next library adventure! 🚶‍♀️📚❤️

🌞 What a fantastic end to the term! 🎉

Our preschool leavers have had the most amazing time celebrating together! They enjoyed a fun-filled Gala Day with exciting games, lots of laughter, and making special memories with their friends. 💛

To round off the term, they also had a lovely party in their rooms on Friday, celebrating all they have achieved together and enjoying one last get-together before their next adventure.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these celebrations so special. We wish all of our preschool leavers the very best of luck as they start big school—you'll all be amazing! 🌟🎓
