It is with great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Brian, a dear friend of St. Patrick's Primary School.

Brian was a familiar and welcoming face at so many of our school celebrations and events throughout the years. His kindness, generosity and willingness to help others never went unnoticed. Whether assisting with trips to the post office and bank or supporting school life and sacramental celebrations in countless quiet ways, Brian was always there with a smile and a helping hand.

He was a true gentleman whose warmth and friendship touched many within our school community. Brian's contribution to St. Patrick's Primary School over many years is deeply appreciated and will be fondly remembered by staff, pupils and families alike.

We extend our sincere condolences to Brian's family and friends at this difficult time, especially to his sister Maria, our former Principal, and the wider family circle.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.

On Friday, we celebrated our wonderful P7 Leavers' Assembly, and what a special occasion it was. We are so proud of each and every one of our P7 pupils.

The emotion on display showed just how much St Patrick's has meant to them over the years. It was a privilege to see them reflect on their journey and the friendships and memories they have made along the way.

The children spoke brilliantly, with confidence, warmth and maturity, and they should be incredibly proud of themselves. We have no doubt that they all have very bright futures ahead, and we can't wait to see all they go on to achieve.

Good luck, P7 – you will always be part of the St Patrick's family. We will miss you!💚🍀

Thank you to Brooke for these amazing photos!

🏆Annual Awards Presentation 2026🏆

Friday was a day of celebration, as we looked back on a great year at St. Patrick’s. As the school continues to grow, we loved gathering as a community to mark the end of the school year.

We are so proud of all of our children and their achievements this year. They make St. Patrick’s the special place that it is and we thank them for this!

Thanks to all who joined us and a special word of thanks to past pupil, Cara Hunter MLA, and Patricia O’Brien (Chair of St Patrick’s BOG) for coming along to present the awards.

Thank you to Brooke for these fantastic photos and a massive thanks to Miss O’Kane for organising a wonderful morning of celebration!

⚽️ What an incredible day of football, friendship and fun at the Annual Portrush Schools’ Cup, held in loving memory of Karol Crawley.⚽️

We couldn't be prouder of our two amazing teams, who gave it their all on the pitch. Their skill, spirit and camaraderie were on full display from start to finish.

For our P7s, it was the last time they’ll play for the school team. We thank them for the incredible contribution they’ve made to the growth of sport in the school.

A massive thank you to all at Portrush Youths for organising such a fantastic tournament, and a heartfelt thank you to The Crawley family for their support.

🏐Thank you to Mrs Park & DCP!🏐

Our netball stars of the future recently took part in an exciting netball coaching session, developing their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

For some of the girls, this was their first experience of netball, they embraced the opportunity with great enthusiasm and determination.

From what we saw, the future of netball at St Patrick’s is certainly in safe hands!

A huge thank you to Miss Crawley for organising the session, and to Mrs Park, Emma and past pupil, Lucia, from Dominican College Portstewart for delivering such a fun, engaging and inspiring coaching session for our pupils.
