❤️ What a Day OFF looks like for Portrush Surf School ❤️

Chasing Waves 🤙

Yesterday we closed shop and left at 5am to the West Coast to ride some Emerald Gems of our own and it DID NOT disappoint.

We have LOVED discovering and searching for 35 years now, but we are so so lucky to be able to come home and share this love and passion with our clients in our 9-5 job !!

🌊 Student Learning Day at Portrush Surf School! 🌊

What a fantastic day yesterday as 30+ surfers from the University of Ulster’s Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics Society joined us for a brilliant day in the water! 🤙

After surfing, the group had full use of the Portrush Yacht Club facilities, including Hot Showers, Changing Rooms, our coffee shop and bar — with some even enjoying a pint of Guinness or two! 🍻

They then settled into our private meeting room, where they enjoyed a ' Private Medical Screening of Paddle Out — a film about surfing with cystic fibrosis — on our big flat-screen TV. 🎬🏄‍♂️

It’s a great example of what makes Portrush Surf School such a perfect venue for:

✅ School & University Days
✅ Work Away Days
✅ Student Societies
✅ Surf & Social Events

Surf, eat, drink, relax and meet — all under one roof at Portrush Yacht Club.

SUCH an honor this afternoon getting to be part of the commentary team at The European Junior Surfing Championships in Bundoran 🙏

Although I probably sounded like a blabbering mess....

HUGE Congratulations to The Irish Junior Team so far, seriously impressed at how far we have come as a National Team, UNBELIEVABLE work by the Irish Surfing Association Team from Zoe and Gav to the Coaches in Murf, Ollie & GMan and to all the behind the scenes crew !!

They have been working very very hard for some years now and the proof is clear to see now having a minimum of 2 of our team in the Finals and 4 Surfers through to Finals Day 🏆
