Another week of pre school making Autumn and Halloween craft, walks, park and Library trips, practising our scissor skills and having lots of fun 😀

Autumn walks to the beach and we role played going on a bear hunt as we walked through long grass, sticky mud and crossed a river 🤣 but thankfully we found no bears 🐻

Autumn has arrived 🍁 🍃 🍂 and we have been busy doing lots of exploring 🧐

From bubble painting, practising our scissor skills, creating a dinosaur forest 😏 (we love the kids imagination) and developing our gross motor skills by climbing and jumping- what better way to practise our jumping than splashing in water 💦

🎃 2 WEEKS TO GO! 🎃

Portrush Primary School's Community Pumpkin Patch and Fun Day, organised by our wonderful PTFA, is now just TWO WEEKS AWAY!

This is a community event and we look forward to seeing members of our school and local community there. Please remember that all children must be accompanied by an adult!

Today we went to the big school hall and had lots of fun using the space to run around, we moved like different animals, followed instructions and took turns playing games- duck duck goose, red lights/green lights, ship, sea, shore and practised our counting playing “what time is it mr wolf?”
We used 2 feet to jump through hoops and practised our balancing.

Half way through our first month of playgroup and how happy and busy have these little faces been 🤩 We had lots of fun settling in- playing inside, outside and visiting the big school hall, we love dance time with the big tv and the climbing frame for developing those gross motor skills.

And just like that… the school year has come to an end. 🌞….. missing a few of our little ones today 😢

To all of my amazing children, thank you for filling our days with laughter, curiosity, kindness and unforgettable memories. Watching you grow has been the greatest privilege.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your incredible kindness. I am truly grateful for every thoughtful card, generous voucher, beautiful flowers, lovely presents and all of the delicious treats. Your support and appreciation mean more than words can say.

I hope each and every one of you has a safe, happy and fun-filled summer making precious memories together. I can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead for you
