Tomorrow starts a brand new term 🏫 and we cant wait for you all to join us at Portrush Community Playgroup for a fun year!

If anyone is worried about the transition to playgroup, then here is a tip from Dr Mary O'Kane

Matching Love Hearts:
Draw a little heart on your wrist, and a matching one on theirs. If they are missing you during the day, or just feel the need to connect with you, they put their fingers on the little heart. They will feel their pulse, like a reassuring heartbeat, when they touch their wrist. Let them know that you will press your love heart if you are missing them. You can also add a spray of your perfume or aftershave to their wrist, as another little connection to you. ❤️

And just like that… the school year has come to an end. 🌞….. missing a few of our little ones today 😢

To all of my amazing children, thank you for filling our days with laughter, curiosity, kindness and unforgettable memories. Watching you grow has been the greatest privilege.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your incredible kindness. I am truly grateful for every thoughtful card, generous voucher, beautiful flowers, lovely presents and all of the delicious treats. Your support and appreciation mean more than words can say.

I hope each and every one of you has a safe, happy and fun-filled summer making precious memories together. I can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead for you

Last week seen the end of term for our pre pre children and we ended it with a bounce and some super exercises and dance moves with Jessica from Inspire dance and our friends from Stepping Stones.

We would like to wish all our pre pre children a happy and safe summer, with hopefully lots of sunshine ☀️🤞and wish you the best pre school year to come.

If you are in receipt of one of the following, you will need to upload a Proof of Benefit letter when applying for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance for the 2026/27 academic year:

➡️ Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
➡️ Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

You can request a Proof of Benefit letter online: https://t.co/vhcVyDRoi5 (It will take at least five days to be sent to you)

If you receive Universal Credit, you do not need the Proof of Benefit Letter. However, you will need to upload evidence of your Universal Credit entitlement when you apply.

And we had the best fun doing our Summer colour run 🤩 big thanks to Skill School NI
