As we approach the end of the Summer holidays (monsoon season for us on Skye...) and get ready for a new term, I thought I would do a little reintroduction of myself before I release my Autumn Timetable. Enjoy!

📖 I have a first class honours degree in Dance.
🩰 I achieved a distinction with the British Ballet organisation and can therefore put students through their Classical Ballet Graded Examinations.
🐍 My biggest fear is snakes and moths.
🌊 I run my own Dance School on the Isle of Skye.
🐕 My favourite hobby is going out walking with my two collie dogs and listening to a good podcast.
📺 My guilty pleasure is binging on true crime documentaries.
🤸‍♂️ I am a registered and qualified AcroDance teacher through Acrobatic Arts.
💧 One thing I am addicted to is fizzy water.

A few spaces have become available for my Acrobatic Workshops this Thursday.

We'll be working on handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, tumbles, leaps and plenty more, with progressions to suit all abilities.

As a qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher, all students will develop their skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

AND THAT'S A WRAP!

I would like to personally say a massive well done to all of the performers who danced at last night's show. The joy you all brought to the stage was truly beautiful. What talented young people we have on this small island of ours!

Now for all of the thank yous...

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who support AMD and bring your children to classes each week. Your commitment, encouragement, and support mean so much and play a huge part in making evenings like this possible.

Klara, thank you for stepping outside your comfort zone and capturing the dancers so beautifully.

Shaun, you are a legend, and I love getting to work alongside you. You make the whole day and evening run so smoothly.

Anne, a job not many people would sign up for, but your words throughout the evening as compère made the show extra special.

Thank you to all of the parents who helped backstage with hair, make-up, costume malfunctions, and making sure everyone was kept safe. A special shout-out to Sarah, Mairi and Catherine.

If I have missed anyone, then I am so sorry, I am a little bit brain-dead this morning!
