A huge thank you to Portlethen Gala for their generous donation of £250 towards our baby and toddler group!

Our group, previously known as Hillside Parent and Toddler Group, has been a lifeline for many children and their families over the years. Unfortunately, the pandemic, along with the lack of suitable facilities at Hillside, took its toll. When we took over nearly a year ago, it was clear how much the community needed this group. Since then, we’ve supported over 50 children and their families.

This donation will greatly help us continue to support this vital service and make improvements to reach even more children. 👶

It is with great sadness that we have had to cancel tomorrow’s class due to an error with Aberdeenshire council lets… 🥺

An email was sent this morning to everyone who was booked to offer refunds. We are devastated after the work we have put into our first class for the year! 😥

We will be announcing our April dates next week so please watch this space!

Our Parent/Carer Baby and Toddler group from next week will now operate on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!

The group operates from Portlethen community centre based within Portlethen Academy from 9:45 till 11.15 Am.

Welcome to Little Rainbow's Portlethen. Our main aim is to bring back the importance of early year's back to the centre of our community.

Over the year's what is available for children under the age of five has reduced drastically. Meaning that children within our community go without or have to travel further afield to access group's. Putting pressure and financial implication's onto families.

We aim to listen to the needs of the community and bring back much loved group's to our community that were so important to hundreds of children and families in the past.

The group is a non profit and is currently a constituted group of members.

This page will be used to gain opinion's of what is needed within our community and to advertise what group's are available and when.

We are looking forward to some exciting time's ahead 🙃
