An all round singing, dancing and acting class for all ages! Our musical theatre classes build so much confidence within our students and many of them would let you know it’s one of their favourite classes!!

Miss Becca’s favourite class is tap class and I’m so excited to be expanding our tap classes from Pre-school up to Grade 3. After our successful tap exam session in summer we are ready for some new challenges!!

🤸🏼 FRIDAY CLASSES 🤸🏼

What a crazy night - I’ve only just got home from the Church. We had our first night back to classes tonight although our comp team have been rehearsing through the holidays. Then Miss Meg covered for me with Tap & Acro as I was on a cheer course from 5-9.30pm 🎉

Can’t wait to see all the Friday girls next week again! Back to the church in less than 12 hours, off to bed! See all my Saturday girls tomorrow 💖

Ballet is the foundation of dance & where our dancers learn beautiful technique that aids them in all other genres of dance. We are looking forward to our ISTD exams at the end of the year, and our Saturday classes will be learning the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus this year.

💖ACRO - BALLET💖

I heard someone say that ‘Acro is Ballet upside down’ and I love that description. Acro is a combination of strength, flexibility, limbering, balance and tumbling!

Ballet benefits Acro training so much - it’s where dancers develop the technique for beautiful leg and arm lines. It’s where they learn to balance and control their bodies.

Of course the styles look so different on stage & we aren’t doing handstands or cartwheels in Ballet but the skills learned in Ballet directly enhance our students Acro abilities!

At RC Performing Arts we are proud to be qualified and certified dance teachers. Not just industry professionals or graduated dance students but fully qualified teachers…..there’s a difference!!

Our team at RCPA hold recognised teaching qualifications alongside their dance/musical theatre degrees. We continue to develop our knowledge through ongoing training, so you can feel confident your child is learning safely and correctly.
