It was wonderful to pop into Easton Library Portland this morning and hear how popular the Summer Reading Challenge has been so far this summer! 📚☀️
The library was buzzing with children choosing and exchanging books, collecting their stickers and, for those who have completed the challenge, proudly receiving their medals! 🏅📖

There is also a parent feedback form, which takes less than two minutes to complete. If you also leave your email address and library card number, you can be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win tickets to Camp Bestival 2027! 🎶🎟️

We’re looking forward to celebrating all of our children’s achievements and handing out their Summer Reading Challenge certificates during a Celebration Assembly in the autumn term. 🥳

If you haven’t started or completed the challenge yet, there’s still time! Simply pop into Easton Library to sign up. Once you’ve completed the challenge, let the library team know before Saturday 12th September so that you can collect your medal and your certificate can be sent to school ready to be presented at Celebration Assembly.

Poppy in Year 5 started off her summer holidays doing her first Taekwondo competition. She competed in the London Open and won 2 Gold medals and the best female Poomsae trophy. Well done, Poppy, what an incredible achievement!
