🦸‍♂️- created our own Super band cuffs with collage materials.
🦸‍♀️- discussed ‘sharing’ and ‘equal parts’ in Maths
🦸‍♂️- read ‘Superworm’ and practised using describing words (adjectives) to describe characters and their features
🦸‍♂️- In Spanish, we re-capped numbers and played ‘Hide the animal’

👮🏻‍♀️Played with the fire station tuff tray, using lentils and small world play.
👩‍⚕️Practised kicking, rolling and jumping in our gym session.

Today we have:

👩‍⚕️- Took part in dentist role- play, using dentist tools, teeth and brushes.
🧑‍🚒- cared for our baby dolls by washing and dressing them in the water tray.
👮🏻‍♀️- used play dough to create ‘Stop’ signs for lollipop people.
👷- played ‘guess the jobs’ by finding different equipment.

🛞 We built our own train and balanced on the “track”.
🛞 Sorted transport into different groups.
🛞 Pretended to be mechanics working in our own garage.
🛞 Designed our own flying machine.
🛞 Yesterday we tested materials to see which would float or sink, so we could design our own boats.

Yesterday we sadly said goodbye to Miss Ruby, as she finishes her time with us and continues on to new adventures. We want to thank her for her hard work and care whilst being with us. The staff and children wish you well and will miss you! Keep in touch😊

🛞 Practised colours in Spanish by matching cars to their coloured parking spaces.
🛞 Played ‘Guess the transport, by how it sounds.
🛞 We recapped and described the process of metamorphosis, before releasing our butterflies.
🛞 Made our own toy car wash.
🛞 Went on a “train journey” across the South West. We had our tickets stamped, chose beverages from a “refreshments trolley” and stopped off at different platforms.

⚓️ Played a pirate memory game.
⚓️ Formed numerals using cubes.
⚓️ Used loose parts, cardboard and tin foil to create pirate ships. We tested them to see if they float or sink.
⚓️ Danced to ‘under the sea’ themed music.
⚓️ Used directional language to guide our friends to find the treasure chest on our giant “treasure map”.
