Miss King’s gardening club has been busy getting their hands dirty and watching their hard work blossom! It has been wonderful to watch their excitement as they watched their plants and vegetables flourish and enjoyed the rewards of their efforts. We are proud of our young gardeners! 🥔🥕🌻

Reception were lucky enough to get a visit from a real life submariner! (AKA one of our wonderful parents, Mr McFaul) 🌊

Year 6 have been working tirelessly over the last few weeks practising their end of year production - ‘Oliver with a Twist.’

Tonight and tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming you into school to watch the production.

Portishead’s beautiful St Peter's Church has recently developed some serious cracks. Repairs are going to be costly. We are about to submit applications to grant-awarding bodies to help pay for this. It will aid our cause if we can show that we have engaged members of the local community about their use of the church and the value they place on it.

Look at how adventurous Year 4 were on their forest school trip to Goblin Combe! The children built dens, used saws and learnt about different insects and plants. Great job everyone!

Our summer activities are in full swing! Last week, Year 2 took part in some new activities, including archery, indo boarding and a game called capture the flag. Well done all!

We look forward to seeing our families, friends and community on Saturday 12.30-3.30pm.

Don't forget that it is a non-school uniform day on Friday where children can bring their Jam Jars, sweet/treats, bottles for the tombola's.
