We had an amazing day at the Egypt Centre to kick-start our topic on Ancient Egypt! 🇪🇬✨
A huge thank you to the centre for all the fantastic activities – we loved every minute of exploring and learning. We’re also so grateful to the adult helpers who came along and made the day extra special.

Dosbarth Teifi are have just finished our topic on Egypt, and we’re really proud of everything we created! We made leaflets, posters, and information boards to share what we have learned, and they all look fantastic.
Now, we’re ready to move on to our next topic—Ancient Egypt. We’re excited to start exploring this new area and can’t wait to learn even more!

Calling all our new Nursery families starting in September 2026!

We’re so excited to invite you to our Stay and Play sessions, starting on 15th of June to 6th of July

Join us on Monday afternoons from 1:30–2:30pm

It’s a lovely chance for your little ones to explore the classroom, meet new friends, and get to know our staff in a relaxed, fun environment.

Thank you for choosing our wonderful little school—we can’t wait to welcome you to the Porthcawl Primary family!

What a fantastic way to spend our last day of our minibeasts topic🕷️🦋🕷️ and the end of this half term! Dosbarth Ogwr had so much fun dressing up as their favourite minibeasts, showing off their crazy hair, and enjoying lots of sticky, yummy honey fun. The children have thoroughly enjoyed our minibeast topic 🐛🐞🐛and are now looking forward to their new learning all about Porthcawl.

Blwyddyn 2 had a fantastic trip to the Caerleon Roman Museum today! We had an amazing time learning what life was like for the Romans over 2,000 years ago. The children learnt how to march like Roman soldiers and explored the Roman baths, barracks and amphitheatre. The visit truly brought history to life and gave the children the opportunity to experience it first hand.

We are so proud of how well behaved the children were throughout the day — they were a real credit to you all. A huge thank you also goes to our wonderful adult helpers who supported us and helped make the trip possible!
