Education for the Next Generation.

In the May edition of Seaside News, Sally Davis explores the importance of balancing strong academic foundations alongside the development of character. The article outlines our approach to education — one that places equal emphasis on how children learn, as well as what they learn, within a school environment where every child is known and supported.

More broadly, the article reflects on the role of schools and the opportunity to create an educational experience that is both forward-looking and connected to the community it serves.

Explore our Early Years environment.

After receiving significant investment, renovations are now complete for our youngest learners to experience indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support curiosity, creativity and discovery. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our environment provides a safe and inspiring space where children begin to discover both the world and themselves, set within a small school community.

These modern learning environments are bright and welcoming. They support the development of language and communication, physical, cognitive and social-emotional skills through meaningful play and exploration.

Discover how the Reggio Emilia philosophy inspires our Early Years provision.

Play is the process through which children discover the world, make sense of it, and experiment with their ideas.

Carefully designed learning environments encourage exploration and creativity, while recognising young children as capable and curious learners. Relationships remain at the heart of this approach to early childhood education.
