WINTER 2022 THEORY EXAM RESULT📖🎶

After 4+ years of coming to piano lessons and working extremely hard; Gary has now sat 4 practical exams and got rewarded with 4 Distinctions!!!

He has now decided to start his journey in Theory Examinations and his first exam went amazing.

You can’t do much better than perfect, can you?

Congratulations to Kyle who achieved an amazing result in his Grade 1 Exam.

•93 marks in total, with fantastic, positive feedback
•Also FULL MARKS on your List C piece and Aural tests!

Well done Kyle!! I’m extremely proud of you.

You can start your journey as young as 3/4 years old🥺 These lessons will be packed with fun activities; learning about sounds, the musical alphabet and much more!! Craft activities will also be included. Lessons will be short, simple and tailored to each child.

You are also never “too old” to come and start learning!😉Have you always wanted to learn piano? But continue putting it off, because you think you’re too old? STOP.

It has been such a joy to teach both of these incredibly talented lads, who dedicate a lot of their time to music.

This girl went bravely on ahead, to sit her third piano exam, without my usual face to face last minute guidance, due to me being off on maternity leave 1 week before her exam date. She came out with another Distinction.

Some GOOD NEWS🤩

Following the latest government guidelines and statistics yesterday evening...

🌟EMILY BLEVINS PIANO LESSONS will be RE-OPENING from the 21st JULY🌟

Due to the unprecedented situation we've experienced, this year summer holidays will commence now and we will have a 3 week break. This will give students the opportunity to return on 21st July and we will continue to work throughout August this year, to make up for lost time.

There will be hand sanitizer provided on arrival and for the benefit of everyone, it will be compulsory that you use this. As an extra precaution the piano keys will be disinfected before and after each student. There will also be slight changes to the piano time slots.

On a final note, thank you all so much for your cooperation with the home lessons and patience during this strange time for us all - it means a lot. I am beyond excited to get back to doing what makes me happiest and of course, seeing my amazing students.

I hope you are all keeping well and continuing to stay safe.

Hi Everyone❤️

Firstly, I would like to thank you all for your patience and continued support, throughout this very strange time.

You parents/guardians have all been extremely understanding and supportive.

To all my students- Each and every one of you, are amazing!! I love receiving your ‘Activity Homework’ videos/recordings, to watch and listen to you all perform. I really appreciate all your continued hard work and effort with piano practice, during lockdown.

‘Emily Blevins Piano Lessons’ are unfortunately still CLOSED! However, things are looking up and we will be reopening for face to face lessons immediately, whenever it is safe to do so. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. But if it is safe to reopen before September, (when students would have normally been off for summer holidays) this year I will make an exception and recommence lessons at a date in August.

I miss you all so much. But in the meantime keep in touch and keep playing🎼🎹

Following government instructions;
All piano lessons will now be suspended, until further notice!

I write this with a heavy heart, but for everyone’s safety, a temporary closure is a must now.

I have been planing/preparing individual work for each student. This will allow you to still practice and progress at home.
I am also aiming to transfer a lot of pre-planned lessons to a file that can be emailed to you. I will be in touch later this week, regarding homework and further information!!

At this difficult time, I would like to take this opportunity, to thank you all so much for your support from the start.

ALL Spring 2020 Music Exams have been postponed, until further notice, due to Covid-19😢

I understand this may cause frustration to some students; who have all made me beyond proud of their hard work!! Every single one of you has went from strength to strength and achieved excellent mock exam results. Please don't feel that your hard work in being prepared for this moment is wasted. Students will eventually sit their exams, when this situation returns to normal!!

⚠️CORONAVIRUS⚠️

All piano lessons are going ahead, as planned this evening!🤗
Spring Examinations are only one week ahead of us; So exam students attendance and hard work is important.
However, it is possible that piano exams may be postponed. If this is the case, I will update you all, as soon as I hear. Much like everyone else, we will be taking it 24 hours at a time.

I work from a small room in my home, therefore all lessons are private and one-to-one!

I am taking all extra precautions possible, to remain a safe and stable environment, for everyone’s mental and physical wellbeing. The piano will be wiped down, before and after each student. Hand sanitiser will also be accessible for everyone.

I do ask, please make sure you are well before attending your lessons. I also, do advice you ALL, to follow the health and safety guidelines, to ensure you and your family are kept safe!❤️🎶

No words to describe how proud I am of all three of these talented pianists. They went into their FIRST ever piano exam and smashed it🌟👏🏼
But regardless of the amazing result, all achieving Distinctions; I am honestly just loving watching their progress over the past year!!
