🍽️ School Dinner Menu 🍽️

Here are the dinner choices, starting with Week 1 this week (w/b 31st August).

💷 Please remember that dinner payments must be made via the school app before midnight each Sunday.

⚠️ Reminder – Tuesday 1st September
Due to a technical issue at the Orchard Primary School kitchen, there will be no hot school dinners on Tuesday.

🥪 Please send your child to school with a packed lunch. Children entitled to FSM will receive either a jam or cheese sandwich.

Any meals already paid for will be credited.

🍽️ ❗️URGENT: School Dinner Update for Tuesday 1st September ❗️🍽️

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We have been informed that the kitchen facilities at Orchard Primary School, where our school meals are prepared each day, have unexpectedly become unavailable due to a technical issue.
As a result, there will be no hot school dinners available on Tuesday 1st September, our first day back after the summer break. We kindly ask that all children bring a packed lunch to school on this day.

For children who are entitled to Free School Meals, a simple lunch option of either a jam sandwich or cheese sandwich will be provided.
We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience and the disruption that this may cause. Unfortunately, this situation is completely beyond our control, but we wanted to inform families as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements can be made.

Please be assured that any school dinners that have already been paid for will be carried forward and credited to your child's account.
At this stage, we are hopeful that normal meal service will resume on Wednesday 2nd September, however we are unable to confirm this at present. We will keep parents updated as soon as we receive further information and would ask that you continue to monitor the school app for updates.

📸 PUPIL PHOTO & VIDEO PERMISSION – ACTION REQUIRED 📸

As we get ready to welcome our pupils back to school on Tuesday 1st September, we have introduced a new, quick and easy way for parents/carers to provide photo and video permission.

📱 A form is now available to complete digitally through the school app. This gives you the opportunity to let us know whether or not you are happy for photographs/videos of your child to be taken and used in school promotional videos and materials, including our website, app, prospectus, newsletters and social media.

⏱️ It only takes a few seconds to complete! Follow the steps in the video to bring you to our ‘image consent form’.

👉 Please note: The form must be completed for every child, whether you give permission or do not give permission. This ensures we have a clear and up-to-date response from every family.

We would really appreciate it if parents/carers could take a moment to complete the form before the children return on Tuesday. 💙

Our teaching staff are back and getting everything ready and now there’s just ONE WEEK until we welcome our pupils back!
