🎨🐾 World Mental Health Day in Seals Class 💙

Today, the children in Seals Class explored the connection between art, animals and our mental health. We looked at famous artists and the animals and pets that inspired them before thinking about our own favourite animals. 🐶🐱🦋

The children chose a coloured piece of paper that made them feel happy and used their creative skills to draw and carefully cut out their chosen animal. They then selected a background that gave them happy vibes and complemented their animal creation. 🌈✨

Through this activity, the children explored how colours, creativity and the things we love can positively influence our mood and support our mental wellbeing.

A huge thank you to Reeve for giving up your time to come in and work with the children, helping us explore the positive impact that art can have on our mental health. 💙

💛 **World Mental Health Day at Port Isaac Academy** 💛

Today, we came together to recognise the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing. Our activities were filled with positivity, creativity and a wonderful **splash of yellow!** 🌟💛

A huge thank you to **Marie and Reeve** for joining us, sharing their talents and helping to make the day so special. We are incredibly grateful for your time, enthusiasm and inspiration!

It was a lovely opportunity to remind ourselves that our mental health matters, that it’s okay to talk about our feelings, and that small acts of kindness and connection can make a big difference. 💛

Together, let’s keep spreading kindness, raising awareness and looking after one another.

🌟 **Celebration Assembly at Port Isaac Academy** 🌟

Another wonderful week of learning and achievement at Port Isaac Academy! 💙

We are incredibly proud of our pupils and all they continue to achieve. Our celebration assembly gave us the opportunity to recognise fantastic **star learning**, celebrate children living our school values of **joy, community, resilience, respect and aspiration**, and shine a spotlight on the effort, determination and positive attitudes shown across the school.

It is always a pleasure to celebrate the children’s hard work, perseverance and successes, both big and small. Keep shining, everyone — we are so proud of you! 🌟👏
