New play area - Mulberry Green!

The Council has been working on the new play area and now has two sets of exciting plans to review. But, we need your help…

On August 27th, from 2pm until 6pm at the Community Centre, these plans will be available to view. We want residents (particularly youngsters and parents/carers) to drop in and give their thoughts. This public consultation will form part of the scoring for the two schemes and will help the Council to decide which is best for the village.

A little summer project is underway at preschool! 🌿🎨

We're busy today giving some of our equipment a bit of love and breathing new life into our indoor and outdoor areas, ready for September and all our lovely children. 💛

If anyone has anything they no longer need that could be put to good use, we'd be so grateful for any donations. Things like bits for the mud kitchen, outdoor play resources, pots, pans, utensils, buckets, natural materials, or anything else in good condition that you think little ones would enjoy are always appreciated.

If you have anything you think we could use, pop me a message and I'll get back to you when I can between jobs.

Have you checked out the huge range of information, advice and support Norfolk Sendiass can offer?

They can support with tribunals, EHCPs, SEN Support, exclusion and suspension, reasonable adjustments and much more.

Waiting times for telephone appointments have recently reduced, and the information on their website has been updated this summer. You'll also find videos and guidance on their page so hop on over and take a look.

You can meet the Engagement and Advice Team at library and community drop-ins across Norfolk this July. No booking needed.

These sessions are informal and friendly and can give you next steps advice about your child’s education, SEN Support, EHCPs and other SEND processes.

There are a few things to be aware of: conversations will take place in open areas; the team speaks to people on a first come, first served basis; and during busy times, conversations may be limited to 20 minutes so they can support as many families as possible.
