Sunny Days Parkstone

Today, after many wonderful years, our Parkstone nursery is closing its doors. Tracy has been the manager here since we first opened in 2015 and has been truly remarkable throughout.

Today we got the team together for one last photo, including Rich and Sian who now work in our Dorchester, and Broadstone nurseries. They both joined Parkstone not long after we first opened in 2015 as apprentices to Tracy. 💙

While this chapter comes to a close, we are happy to share that our fab team will all continue their journey with us at our Broadstone nursery.

Thank you to all of the families who have been part of our community over the years, we all have so many wonderful memories. 💛

Laughter, twinkling lights, and happy little faces made our Christmas party an unforgettable day! 🎄

Special thanks to our wonderful team who came in the night before to set up and make sure everything was perfect. ☺️

The children are so helpful - and they love it! They dish up their own snack (you can see Jess on standby just in case 😉), sit down together to eat, and then carefully wash up their own dishes afterwards.

They're just a wonderful bunch and we've got room for a few more friends if you're looking for the perfect fit for your little one. 💛

The children have been absolute superstars, raising money for Children in Need by doing a sponsored walk - well done everyone! 💛

The children were over the moon to get a surprise visit from Pudsey himself, and we've also made our own Pudsey hats, and created a special Pudsey face with coloured rice in the tuff tray.

We've all had a lot of fun for a very worthwhile cause.

While the children were making these lovely poppy biscuits, we talked to them about how the poppy symbolises remembrance, but also hope for a peaceful future.

If these little ones are anything to go by then the future is in good hands! ☺️

The children have been using carrots to hold their sparklers, this helps keep them at a safe distance and gives a good chunky handle for them to hold onto! 🥕✨

The children love being independent and helpful! They each take turns filling up bottles and containers from the water butt until the tuff tray has enough water to play with.

Without an outdoor tap this was always a bit of a faff, but the water butt has saved the day, and is also much more eco friendly - win, win! 💙

David & Joy opened the first Sunny Days Nursery 28 years ago today! 🎉

It's been quite a journey, made all the more special by the wonderful children, parents, and staff who have joined us along the way.
