🎃✨ A Spooktacular October at Everyday Explorers! ✨🎃

We have lots of exciting learning and fun planned at Everyday Explorers this October! 🌟

👩‍🚒👮‍♀️🧑‍⚕️ People Who Help Us�We’ll be learning all about the amazing people who help us in our community — from firefighters and police officers to doctors, builders and so many more! We’ll be exploring what they do, how they help us and why they are so important. ❤️

👻🎃 Halloween Fun!�We will also be getting into the Halloween spirit with lots of spooky, creative and sensory activities! Expect pumpkins, stories, songs and plenty of Halloween themed fun. 🕷️🧙‍♀️🍂

🌟 Meet Jen! 🌟

Please join us in welcoming Jen to the team, initially working ad hoc hours for this term and joining us for four mornings from January 💕

With over 25 years of experience in early years care, Jen has a wealth of knowledge and a real passion for supporting children to learn, grow and thrive. She is a qualified level 3 with experience working with children of all ages and particularly enjoys creating safe, stimulating environments where children can learn through play and exploration. 🧸✨

We’re so excited to have Jen as part of our team! 🌈

What a couple of weeks! 🥹💛

We honestly can’t believe we’ve made it through our very first couple weeks at Everyday Explorers!

When we first started talking about creating our own nursery we had so many ideas, hopes and dreams about what we wanted Everyday Explorers to be. To finally open our doors and welcome our very first children and families has been such a special feeling. 🧸🌈
It’s been lovely watching the children explore, play, make new friends and start to feel at home in their new surroundings. We’ve had lots of smiles, plenty of fun and so many little moments that have made us smile. ❤️

We’d also like to give a big shout out to Tash, who has already been a huge help as we find our feet and establish our new routines. She’s been helping the children (and ourselves!) find their rhythm and settle into nursery life. Every day brings something new to learn, and we’re loving seeing it all come together. ✨

A huge thank you to all of our families for choosing Everyday Explorers and trusting us with your little ones. We really do appreciate your support more than you know.
This is just the beginning of our Everyday Explorers journey, and we’re so excited for everything that’s still to come! 🌿✨

🌟 Meet Tash, our new Planning Lead! 🌟

We’re delighted to welcome Tash to the team, she has worked in childcare for 5 years and holds her Level 3 qualification. She has experience as a Room Leader in both toddler and baby rooms, as well as valuable experience working across all age groups.

Tash has a real passion for messy play and has a deep knowledge of the under-2s curriculum. She brings a warm, nurturing approach that fits beautifully with our home from home ethos.
As our new Planning Lead, Tash is passionate about creating exciting, engaging learning opportunities that support every child’s development, interests and individual needs.

Tash will start with us on Friday 4th September and she can’t wait to meet all the children 💛

🌟 What a lovely week we are having!🌟

This week we’ve started settling in sessions and it has been so lovely welcoming the children into our setting and beginning to get to know them. 💕 Although we are only just starting to get to know each other, it has been wonderful seeing their little personalities begin to shine through as they explore, play and settle into their new surroundings.

We’re so excited for the weeks ahead and look forward to building special relationships with each child and getting to know them and their families along the way. 🌈✨

Here’s to the beginning of many happy memories together! 💛

Nobody tells you which cuddle will be the last one with their whole body curled neatly against your chest.

Or which morning they’ll wake up looking a little less like a baby.

You don’t notice their wrist rolls disappearing.
You don’t realise they’ve stopped holding your finger.
And somehow, the little face you see every single day changes without asking permission.

That’s why this page isn’t only about perfectly behaved children or smiling-at-the-camera photographs.

It’s about helping Dorset mums hold on to the bits that disappear quietly the expressions, tiny details and stages you think you’ll remember forever.

🌞✨ Eclipse excitement! ✨🌞
We have been getting ready for tonight’s solar eclipse by making our very own solar viewing boxes! 📦🌙

It’s a fantastic opportunity to combine creativity, curiosity and a little bit of science as we learn about the amazing things happening in our sky. 🔭💫

We hope you and your little explorers enjoy the incredible natural phenomenon tonight! ❤️

Remember: never look directly at the Sun — always use a safe solar viewing method or proper certified solar eclipse glasses. 🌞🕶️

As we prepare to welcome little ones to our brand-new nursery, our garden has a fresh new look with the installation of artificial grass! 🌿💚
This will create a safe, clean and inviting outdoor space where children can explore, play, learn and enjoy the garden all year round—whatever the weather! ☀️🌧️
