Proper mini trip today - Left house at 8am, back by 6pm! Took a train, tube, uber boat and cable car across London, avoiding the tube strikes to visit the running expo. Excited. Terrified. Fear of failure. Probably most marathon runners this week!
Amazing generosity from friends and family!

An awesome day cheering on runners of Newport Marathon with ! We managed 4 spots covering over 8 miles walking to surprise the fabulous Steph and Ben on their first ever marathon! 200 mile road trip down winding country mtry roads and a £1.20 toll bridge but I did get to show off my new dungarees and ring the infamous WSR bell! It was sunny!

Cracking Birthday Celebrations! Big thanks to Lilli Put for letting me join her big birthday celebrations as her birthday twin! It was 44 Lengths to start at 6am, skipping the bike leg for breakfast and then onto the 40.4km run! Lots of friends joining at various parts of the day before quick shower, change and onto an 80s themed night of dancing, games and prosecco! #404040

The brilliant trail race that is The Grizzly! The most mixed terrain 20 mile trail race you could possibly ask for. There are countless inclines, muddy paths, fields, roads, streams, pebble beaches and steep steps! The race was nearly a non starter as once again... I forgot my running bra! 😬. Massive thanks to who lent me a crop top so could form a support of 2 bras and a buff 15 mins pre race start 🤦🏽. Being nicknamed 'rainbow lady' by kids, marshalls and spectators was awesome however! 😍. Brilliant support from locals and the endless marshalls and finished up with a hose down. you are awesome! I am now... A little tired!

Big Mud Today! Marathon number 19 in build up to London no. 20! It's muddy, chilly, raining, windy and going it alone. Perfect day out for me! Arms out and feel wind, chat and banter with fellow runners, slide amongst the mud, trawl the tired legs up and down technical pathways, enjoy the views, embrace pain and weather and ultimately feel very much alive.

Lytchett 10 Race - My 10th time on this course! Lead up to race I felt the nerves as really feel a loss in confidence in my own running abilities and racing due to a number of factors. However, a warm up run in pre race for 4.5 miles helped calm the nerves and seeing everyone's faces really helped distract and just run. Nerves became excitment! Definitely not my quickest but finished strong and feeling more confidence to once again race! Big thanks to for this fabulous race and the sparkle war paint of !
