It’s been an amazing year and an honour to have been able to support Bayside Academy with the establishment of their Early Years Provision.

Sunflowers and their seeds 🌻🌻🌻

At Bayside View Pre-School our little ones have been focusing on real objects and living things.

One of our lovely staff members provided these special sunflowers following a family visit to a Sunflower field 🌻🌻

Opportunities like this spark curiosity and supports children to learn to notice fine details, understand shapes, and build concentration.

Children also make links with their learning to different experiences and apply these opportunities to extend their own play and learning.

SENCO Qualification Achievement 🌟🌟

Congratulations to our lovely Laura for a wonderful achievement 🌟🌟Wow!

Laura has recently finished the SENCO qualification. This has included 9 months of hard work and commitment and Laura will work closely with Vicky, Sarah and Delphine to offer more support to all our amazing families, as Lead SENCO in September 2026 across our Preschools. 🌟🌟

The Lifecycle of the Butterfly 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Within all of our Preschools we follow The Curiosity Approach to Early Years and all our adult caregivers love to create as many real experiences for our little ones.
These experiences include visits into the Community and caring for Living Things within our learning environment 🐛🐛🦋🦋

This half term we have had some special visitors which has been so exciting 🐛🐛

Our children have been fascinated by the whole experience and were very excited to release our butterflies safely into the world. 🐛🦋🐛🦋

Hot Hot Hot ☀️☀️☀️

Dear Parents/Carers,

Due to this exceptional spell of hot and humid weather we are observing that some children are struggling with the heat despite out best efforts to keep them cool. We feel that it is in their best interests to offer you the option to collect your child from 12noon onwards with effect from today, tomorrow and Friday. We will remain open until 3.00pm if needed and would ask you to let us know if you intend to pick your child up early, preferably at drop-off time if possible.

During hot weather please ensure that your little ones have:

☀️sunscreen (we can top it up) 🧴

☀️closed toe shoes or crocs
