A great opportunity to be creative over the summer holidays for children aged 7 to 10.

Due to the ongoing hot weather, pupils are invited to wear PE kit or school summer uniform (eg. blue summer dresses) until further notice this week. Please ensure your child has a water bottle and sun hat in school every day.

However! Don’t forget International Dress Up Day is tomorrow (Monday). Children are invited to wear international dress or the colours of their flag. (Please dress appropriately for the heat.)

Our Eco-Committee have continued to work hard to support sustainability at St. Mary's this year. In conjunction with evidence from our fantastic efforts for Outdoor Classroom Day on the 21st May from across the school, we have been awarded the Silver - Green Tree Schools Award from the Woodland Trust.

Pupils have earned points for this award, by completing activities such as reading outdoors, using nature to create woodland artwork and connecting with nature during lessons. The Eco-committee are delighted with this whole school achievement and will continue to work towards a greener St Mary's and their gold award over the coming months. Well done everyone!

As the sun sets on our final night at PGL, our Year 6 children are settling down for the night after an exhilarating day of trapeze, laser tag and raft building.

Goodnight from PGL. We’ve had a great time conquering the vertical challenge and completing our PGL Passports around the World challenge. We are looking forward to raft building and trapeze tomorrow!

There are also remaining FREE HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) spaces available for the Summer Holidays at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School for children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM).

HAF funded holiday club spaces provide children with a fun, safe, and engaging environment during the school break, with a FREE HOT MEAL included every day.

Tickets are selling fast for our school production of Disney's The Lion King Jr. Tickets can be purchased for £5 through your child's Scopay account. We look forward to seeing you on the 8th and 10th July. Hakuna Matata!
