One thing I've learned as both a player and a coach is that improvement doesn't happen by accident.
The players who make the biggest strides aren't always the most naturally talented. They’re the ones who are willing to keep learning, keep asking questions and keep working when others take a break.
That's exactly why I created our Player Development Clinics!
These aren't holiday camps. They're designed for ambitious girls who want to make the most of their summer with small-group coaching, plenty of individual feedback on the go, and sessions built around helping each player become more confident and effective on the pitch.
If your daughter wants to head into the new season feeling sharper, more confident and ready to perform, I'd love to welcome her along.
Places are limited to keep the coaching personal, so if you'd like to find out more or book a place, just send me a message or visit the link in the comments.
Who's ready for the new season? ⚽💗

I thought it was about time I re-introduced myself and shared why I am so passionate about what I do here.
My name is Amber Treweek, and I run DNA Girls Football.
I started DNA Girls Football because I wanted to give back to the local football community that I grew up in and provide girls with the opportunities to develop and advance that I would have benefitted from at their age.
Since beginning my football journey at Corfe Mullen United Juniors, my career has taken me all over the world. I’ve had the opportunity to play all over the UK, USA, Spain, and the Netherlands, captain the England Schools Girls team, experience WSL Academy football, and most recently compete in Tier 3 of the Women’s Football Pyramid.
My passion for coaching began when I realised that, as a player, I had become a role model for younger girls, and I wanted to use my experiences to show them that their football dreams really are possible, while also providing them with the extra support and guidance they need to progress.
Today, alongside running DNA Girls Football, I’m proud to coach within the AFC Bournemouth Girls Academy, Southampton FC, and Canford School. Working across these environments allows me to continually grow as a coach, helping me provide every player I work with the highest standard of coaching and support.
And the best part? My coaching journey is only just getting started.
I can’t wait to continue helping ambitious female footballers maximise their potential and achieve their goals, wherever their football journey takes them 🩷

It was a privilege to be invited back to my old school last week to deliver career aspiration workshops to more than 40 girls from two local junior schools 🩷
Together we explored how to plan engaging coaching sessions, before taking those ideas onto the pitch and putting them into practice ⚽
Thank you to CHJS for the invitation, and well done to all of the girls for their fantastic enthusiasm! 🧬🌟

Not even the sunshine or the summer holidays fast approaching can stop our weekly Advancement Groups from bringing incredible energy, enthusiasm and a real desire to learn 👏🏼🩷
Both our Poole and New Milton groups continued to develop their technical and tactical understanding this week as we progressed on to combining to score.
Great work girls, I can’t wait to see where all of your hard work takes you over the rest of the summer and beyond! 🧬⚽

Our Midfielder’s Workshop was a great success this morning! 🩷🤩
A massive thank you to .treweek for leading the workshop, and for sharing her experience to help the girls explore what it takes to work together in midfield and find success in and out of possession.
It was amazing to see all of the girls applying themselves throughout the workshop, applying the coaching points and engaging in discussions in their teams and as a group.
Well done girls 👏🏼🧬

Both Poole Development camps enjoyed another great session this week 🩷
The younger group continued their focus on ball mastery and dribbling techniques, while the older group recapped their 2- and 3- player moves, showing further development in their understanding and ability to execute the moves.
Great work from both groups 👏🏼🧬
