Why should you train in Microneedling?

Because great skin never goes out of fashion.

Microneedling is one of the most versatile treatments in aesthetics, helping to improve acne scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, pigmentation, stretch marks, and overall skin quality. It stimulates the body's natural collagen and elastin production, creating healthier, stronger, more youthful-looking skin.

For practitioners, it is an excellent treatment to offer as a standalone service or alongside other aesthetic treatments, making it a valuable addition to your clinic. Suitable for a wide range of clients and concerns, microneedling is a treatment that patients return for time and time again.

Train with us and learn the science behind collagen induction therapy, patient assessment, treatment protocols, and how to safely achieve exceptional results with confidence.

Invest in a skill that delivers real results and keeps your appointment book full.

One of the most common mistakes we see in aesthetics training is injecting directly through your skin markings.

When you mark up a patient's face, those markings are sitting on the surface of the skin and can harbour bacteria, makeup residue, oils, and contaminants. By passing your needle through the marker ink, you risk introducing these contaminants into the tissue, increasing the risk of infection and compromising your infection control standards.

Instead, always: • Mark your treatment areas first • Clean away the injection point if required • Inject adjacent to the marking rather than directly through it • Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the procedure

Good aesthetics is not just about beautiful results. It's about patient safety, clinical standards, and attention to the small details that reduce risk.

At The Academy of Safe Aesthetics, we teach not only how to inject, but why every step of the process matters. The difference between an injector and an exceptional injector is often found in the details.

Chemical peels are one of the most underrated treatments in aesthetics.

While everyone is chasing the latest trend, chemical peels remain one of the most effective, evidence-based treatments for improving skin health and treating common concerns such as pigmentation, acne, acne scarring, fine lines, sun damage, uneven texture, and dull skin.

The best part?

You don't need expensive devices, large clinic spaces, or huge start-up costs to begin offering them.

Chemical peels are: • Profitable • In demand all year round • Suitable for a wide range of clients • Excellent as standalone treatments • Easy to combine with other treatments • A fantastic way to build long-term treatment plans

Most practitioners focus on injectables, but skin treatments create loyal clients who return regularly and often go on to have additional treatments with you.

On our Chemical Peel Training Course, you'll learn: • Skin anatomy and physiology • How different peel acids work • Client assessment and consultation • Indications and contraindications • Treatment protocols • Managing complications safely • How to combine peels with other treatments • Hands-on practical experience on live models

If you want to build a successful aesthetics business, understanding skin is just as important as understanding injectables.

Invest in your knowledge. Master skin health. Create better results for your clients.

In aesthetics, your needle should be changed after 4 bone contacts or 9 dermal penetrations.

Why? Because each insertion and bone contact progressively blunts and deforms the needle tip at a microscopic level. A compromised needle increases tissue trauma, patient discomfort, bruising, and reduces injection precision.

A sharp needle allows for cleaner entry, better control, and safer treatment.

Small clinical details like this have a major impact on both patient comfort and treatment outcomes.
