Mission accomplished! π΅οΈββοΈ Our Year 5 Word Detectives have been putting their problem-solving skills to the test by creating and cracking secret codes using their spelling words.
By turning their spelling list into a puzzle, the children are building brilliant teamworking skills and deepening their understanding of tricky letter patterns in a fun, memorable way.
The concentration in the room was fantastic, and the teamwork was even better. Super work, Year 5! π§©β¨

Water fun and big adventures for our Pips! π The children have been making a massive splash with our outdoor water play, working together to pour, measure, and build.
Beyond the brilliant fun, they are secretly building their early science skills, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork values. We are so proud of their brilliant sharing and curiosity! βοΈ π¦ π

The Perfect Farewell to Year 6! ποΈποΈββοΈ
Our wonderful Year 6 children celebrated their final primary school trip with a fantastic day of mini-golf, ice cream, and beach games at Sandbanks!
This memorable trip was fully funded by the children's own brilliant enterprise and fundraising events this year, a fantastic achievement that showed real teamwork and independence.
They returned sun-soaked, happy and full of memories. We are going to miss this year group immensely; their charisma, energy, and talents have made them a complete joy to teach. We wish them the absolute best as they begin their exciting next chapter! ππ¦

What an incredible turnout for our Year 6 exhibition!
Our talented young artists and writers have been working incredibly hard this half term, and it was a joy to see their self-portraits and published fable books on display. These pieces beautifully capture their unique personalities and how much they have grown this year.
Thank you so much to all the families who joined us to celebrate their hard work. We have some incredibly talented authors and artists in our midst! π

Year 3 has been busy exploring the world in a single afternoon! πΊοΈβ¨
Our children had a wonderful time visiting Compton Acres , journeying from the formal, symmetrical Italian Garden to the tranquil bridges of the Japanese Garden.
This special trip was the perfect way to support our science and geography learning. The children loved studying how different plants thrive in unique habitats, while practicing their brilliant observation and fieldwork skills.
We are so proud of the fantastic manners, curiosity and team spirit the children showed throughout the visit. Well done, Year 3! π A big thank you to Compton Acres for having us! π³ π

Our Year 6 children had an incredible morning swapping the classroom for two wheels as they took on the challenge of waveboarding! πββοΈβ¨
Learning to balance and steer on a waveboard takes an enormous amount of determination. We were so proud to see the children demonstrating fantastic resilience, cheering each other on, and making huge progress across the session. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to develop their core stability and gross motor skills while building confidence in trying something completely new!

Our KS2 Sports Day was an absolute triumph! π₯³π
Despite the warm weather, the children gave 100% effort across all the events, from the sprints and hurdles to the ball hoops and a legendary tug-of-war (including an amazing turnout for the parents' match!). πͺβ¨
It was fantastic to watch the children demonstrate such brilliant teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. We wrapped up the celebrations by cooling down with some well-deserved ice pops and a dash through the sprinklers! π§π¦
A massive thank you to everyone who organised the event, and to all our wonderful families for coming along to support. We are so proud of our KS2 superstars!
