🐢🌴✨ Take a look at our fantastic, finished products from DT! ✨🌴🐢
As part of our Cool Caribbean topic 🌊☀️, we designed our own sea animals, taking inspiration from the bright and colourful patterns of the Caribbean. We used these patterns to create colourful jellyfish and turtle bodies.
We then carefully sewed two pieces of fabric together using a running stitch 🧵🪡 and stuffed them to make our sea creatures soft and cuddly 🤗.
We are so proud of our creative designs 🌟 and all the hard work, perseverance and creativity that went into making them 💙. Well done, 3H! 👏🎉

📚🌟 Our 100 Book Challenge has officially launched today! 🌟📚
The excitement is already building as classes begin their quest to become the first in their year group to collectively read 100 books! 🎉
A reminder that children can access books for the challenge from a range of places:
📖 Our classroom book corners
📚 The school library
🏛️ Local libraries
🛍️ Bookshops
❤️ Books kindly donated by our PTA
We would also be incredibly grateful for any donations of books from the reading lists that families may have at home and no longer need.
The challenge is all about encouraging a love of reading, discovering new authors and sharing fantastic books with classmates. Every book counts towards the class total, so we can't wait to see which class reaches 100 books first! 🏆

This October, we are celebrating Babatunde Olatunji, a renowned traditional African djembe drummer whose music has inspired audiences around the world.
Throughout the month, children will explore his music, learn about African drumming traditions, and develop their appreciation of different musical cultures and styles.
