With the new changes to universal credit can my regular parents and new parents wanting their child to join our holiday club send me your FSM (free school meals) result.

This could be an e-mail you received from the Council, or another Portal. There’s a company called OFSM which some schools use, and they send e-mails/texts to parents.
It could be a screen-shot of a text message, or a photo of a letter – as long as it says either targeted or expanded, and comes from an official source that is your eligibility checker, without this your child won’t have a place.

Little Angels is an OfSted registered provider, parents who receive Universal Credit can claim back childcare costs through their HMRC gateway
childcare in the holiday club isnt completely out of reach. Yes, there is an initial outlay to fund and I’m not sure how long the wait is to get reimbursed, but this is an option for some parents.
Targeted children are guaranteed a HAF place, expanded the local authority would confirm a place.Bear with me it’s all new but if you want a Christmas place let me know so I can start checking eligibility 😊

Little Angels can fix it💪

Fixing and building with real and toy tools gives children the opportunity to develop practical skills while extending their learning through mathematics, problem-solving and measurement. Children can explore how tools work, compare the size and length of objects, count screws and pieces, measure materials and begin to use mathematical language such as longer, shorter, bigger, smaller, more, less, wide and narrow. They are encouraged to think about what needs fixing, choose the right tool and work out how to make things fit together. These hands-on experiences make maths meaningful and exciting, while also developing children’s confidence, coordination, communication and independence. Extending maths by measuring each other and recognising numbers 🥰

BCP Council Road Safety Department came out today to teach the children through story and role play how to cross the road safely.
The children had great fun being vehicles, pedestrians and lolly pop lady.
We have the use of the equipment for the week so any children not in today will have the opportunity to take part 🥰

🌟 Welcome back to nursery! 🌟

A brand-new academic year begins, bringing new adventures, new friendships, lots of learning and plenty of special memories to make along the way. 💕 For some of our little ones, it’s the start of their very first journey at nursery, while for others it’s the beginning of another exciting year as they grow, learn and become more independent.

We’re looking forward to watching all our children flourish, explore and enjoy every step of their nursery journey. 🌈🧸✨

Thank you very much Sainsbury's Good food for all of us community grants 2026-27 for donating £500 to our Christmas HAF, We will have a lovely Christmas dinner with all the trimmings cooked by yours truly, with a few treats along the way🥳

Following changes to government funding, supermarket vouchers for school holidays will no longer be issued from October half term 2026 onwards. Families can continue to access a range of food and financial support, including Healthy Start Scheme, Free School Meals, Holiday Activities and Food (HAF), Crisis Payments, local food projects and money advice.

You may have children at school, or a child who has recently started school.
More families are now eligible for Free School Meals.
Children may qualify for either Targeted Free School Meals or Expanded Free School Meals.
Children eligible for Targeted Free School Meals may also qualify for additional support, including:
🎨 Holiday Activities and Food (HAF), providing free holiday activities and meals during school holidays
📚 Pupil Premium, which provides additional funding to schools to support children's education
🎒 Other educational benefits and support available through schools
