A massive BU Library ‘hello’ to Alison, who’s joined us recently as our new Faculty Librarian for Media, Science & Technology 👏

Her previous role was team leader of collections and discovery services at University of Roehampton, but she found the commute (from Bournemouth!) a bit much and can now walk to work.

Alison is looking forward to meeting MST students, and will be working with the Academic Skills Hub to provide 1:1 and small group appointments - book on Brightspace 🤓💻🎒📕 yay!

Right next door to Talbot library is the fabulous Fusion - you’ll probably have lots of lectures there but it’s also a great place to meet up, relax, eat, etc. Right now you can find a top tips board with pearls of wisdom from existing BU students - worth a look!

To all our lovely new students - find out what we’ve got in our beautiful library! This is a really quick look round with Big Red, but there’s a longer tour video and downloadable guides to both libraries on our tours page - find the link in our bio.

Come and see us soon! ❤️🤓📕🐣
