Looking for work but need a bit of extra support to get there?

Connect to Work is a FREE, voluntary programme helping Dorset residents overcome barriers to employment and stay in work for the long term. Whether you're living with a health condition, disability, are neurodivergent, or facing other challenges, specialist support is available.

You'll be matched with a dedicated Employment Specialist who can help with:

• CV writing
• Job searching
• Interview preparation
• Confidence building
• Advice on moving from benefits into employment
• In-work support and training.

The programme also supports people with caring responsibilities, those who have experienced homelessness, people recovering from substance dependency, care leavers, refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, and those with experience of the criminal justice system.
