Today we welcomed prospective Graphic Design student Brianna Egan and her Visual Arts Teacher and Head of Year 10, Nicola Curtin, both from the prestigious International School of Geneva, Switzerland. L'Ecole Internationale de Genève - International School of Geneva

After a campus tour they met up with their ‘old’ students who are presently studying at AUB. Nathaniel (3rd year BA (Hons) Animation Production) and Connie (2nd year BA(Hons) Design). It was great to hear their positive views and enthusiasm for their courses.

Hopefully, we shall welcome Brianna back as an AUB student in 2025!

We've recently joined a select few of international universities to sign a MOU with National Institute of Fashion Technology, India (NIFT).

MA Digital Fashion and Innovation Course Leader Penelope Norman, represented AUB for the event in New Delhi in February, along with Ms. Mrinal Singh and also handed over the MOU signed by Vice Chancellor Paul Gough.

The event was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister, Narender Modi and several political heads were also in attendance to witness the signing.

The association with NIFT marks the collaboration between the two institutions offers students exchange opportunities as well as other educational collaborations. We're delighted to become their third university partner from the UK.

NIFT was established in 1986 and currently has 19 campuses across India providing a variety of disciplines across Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Knitwear and Communications. With over 13,000 students and 41,000 Allumni, NIFT is one of the most prestigious Deign universities in India.

Congratulations to our two Portrait of Britain 2023 winners, MA Photography student Akindele Ibukun and MA Photography award leader Professor Paul Wenham-Clarke.

This represents our fifth consecutive year of staff and students making the shortlist, with five total across BA (Hons) Commercial Photography and MA Photography in 2023.
