SFA - Statement.
To our SFA family,
It is with a heavy heart we are announcing that Simon and the team at SFA have decided to close the Academy at the end of this 2023 calendar year, and will not be returning in 2024.
We have enjoyed over 6 years of success thanks to all of you, present and past players alongside your families. Because of you we were able to pick back up after a tough time during the pandemic and provide our football sessions. We are so proud of so many things we've been able to achieve and provide.
Head Coach Jack has been offered a full time role within AFC Bournemouth in the new year, and with Simon's workload high within the club the decision has been made to preserve our memories rather than attempt to build again.
We have found post pandemic as we're sure you are all familiar with, the fees of venues continues to rise with the economy and it's increasingly difficult for families to continue to provide funds for external clubs like ourselves.
Our final Wednesday night session will be as scheduled on the 13th December. We will then be running 2 final soccer school days over Christmas to end our time together, with the link to book below. We hope to see as many of you as possible for one more time!
