A SEWING SKILLS – HOW TO READ AND ALTER A COMMERCIAL PATTERN TO FIT YOU
DATE: Tuesday 12th November 2024 / TIME: 10am – 1pm
DESCRIPTION: Introduction to altering a commercial pattern – how to take measurements and adjust a pattern to fit. Cost: £22.00

B START TO USE YOUR SEWING MACHINE
DATE: Saturday 23rd November 2024 or Sat 25th January 2025/ TIME: 11am to 2.30pm
DESCRIPTION: Learn how to set up and use your sewing machine on this simple day course. Perfect for those with a new machine or dusty one in a cupboard! Cost: £30.00

C COLOUR PLANNING AND MOOD BOARDS FOR INTERIORS
DATE: Thursday 28th November 2024 / TIME: 10am – 1pm
DESCRIPTION: Discover your colour skills and plan a room through texture and colour placement with this fun introduction to interior design. Cost: £22.00

D CHRISTMAS TEXTILE WORKSHOP
DATE: Thursday 12th December 2024 / TIME: 10am – 2pm
DESCRIPTION: A day filled with gorgeous Christmas craft activities – embroidery/stitch and applique …. and possibly a mince pie or two! Cost: £20.00

Thursday 16th November
10am – 12.00 Introduction to hand embroidery and stitching – learn new techniques and explore colour and texture £10.00 (booking needed)

Thursday 23rd November
10.30am – 2.15pm Textile Collage short course (including drawing skills and visual boards) and combining different textile skills to produce a textural collage piece using scraps and recycled embroidery remnants you might have. Have a go on our new felting machine! No prior skills needed – just enthusiasm!
£25.00 (booking needed)

Thursday 30th November
10am – 12.30pm Further embroidery stitch course. New stitches and use of them on your own pieces of work – also support on finishing off old projects. Some prior stitching skills are helpful
