In this summer heat, we are forever improving ways to keep our little ones hydrated while also learning new skills

JAM MAKING 🍯🍓

Today some of our babies enjoy exploring how to make a sugar free strawberry jam. They enjoyed learning how to use a safety knife correctly, before placing the chopped strawberries into the pan before adding the final ingredients. The children enjoyed watching from a far as the pan started to cook.

The jam was finally ready to take home. 🍓

What a beautiful lesson this was. Our children's house children were learning the colours of the rainbow in Portuguese before using their constantly improving motor skills to colour in their rainbow.

This beautiful activity was dedicated to our care of the earth day we had at the nursery. It was one of many activities given to the children to explore how we can care and protect our planet earth.

Every Monday at ashleycross , we have the amazing Miss Kate from come to visit. The children love this weekly visit and are always keen to get involved.

Dancing is so important for children of all ages to do. It builds the rhythm and coordination skills but most importantly their confidence to shine.
