The children are really enjoying this start of the year , doing science activities
" making ice" , magnetic and not magnetic objects, the reflection of the light ,exploring the sensory " fake snow" and discussing "Artic ".
Visiting the Children's Center and our new play friends it's always a fun day 🤗

The most wonderful time of the year 🔔
We had such a joy in this last month, the children prepared Christmas decoration, discussed the nativity where we smelled "mir" and " frankensense", made our own Christmas plates, baked biscuits, made Christmas decorations out of clay.

The children loved to make flags, dressing up in traditional costumes, listen to traditional Romanian music and celebrating our National Day with the children from Rossmore Children's Centre.

Understanding the world: we discussed the flora and fauna of India, tried Indian costumes and listened to Indian nursery rhymes.

Enjoying one of the most colourful seasons:
Hello Autumn!
Activities for 2/3 year olds

The children enjoyed their time collecting conkers, pine cones and acorns from the park while observing their correspondent trees. They also discussed their shapes, colours and textures.

We used our Autumn fruits and plants for different activities, including:
Sensory, math, language, arts, and symbolic play.

Their favourite activity was shelling corn - showing great effort and concentration, reinforcing their motor skills and also their understanding of the world.

Boosting language through storytelling and STEM( science, technology,engineering and mathematics)
Following "The Three Little Pigs" story we tried to recreate the 3 houses .
The children really enjoyed listening to the story preparing the houses ,discussing the materials and extending into independent role play. Absolutely brilliant outcome 🤗: Intent / implementation / Impact
We also took advantage of the sunny days going to the park/ feeding the ducks / walking through the beautiful garden / and extending independent play ( science / math/.
