Adults Time to Upgrade!
🥋 READY TO TAKE YOUR WING CHUN TO THE NEXT LEVEL?
Our class is attracting various students who are serious about improving their Wing Chun.
We currently have 2 students travelling 2.5–3 hours from different lineages just to train and learn the Gary Lam way.
We also have 2 female students and 4–5 local students who have previously trained within the Ip Ching and Chun lineages.
We also have some newbies that haven’t done anything before and are loving it.
Plus, don’t forget our great Kids class
Different backgrounds. Different levels. Different experiences.
But they are all discovering the same thing:
There is a huge advantage to understanding and training the Gary Lam system.
Better structure.

Better use of the body.
And, most importantly, a different way of looking at your Wing Chun.
You don't have to take our word for it.
Come and experience it for yourself.
If you're already training Wing Chun but feel there's more to learn, more to understand, or more to develop…

Could you handle yourself in a real-life situation?
Come and discover the art of Wing Chun with the Poole Academy of Wing Chun.
Wing Chun was developed for practical self-defence and became famous through the challenge fights and rooftop contests of old Hong Kong, where practitioners tested their skills under real pressure. The Poole Academy of Wing Chun follows a direct lineage from those who took part in that tradition, passing on the drills, concepts and techniques as they were originally taught.
Our goal is simple - helping people develop practical skills that work in the real world while building confidence, coordination and discipline.
Explore basic Wing Chun structure and movement
Take part in simple physical exercises
Test your striking skills on pads
Learn a few practical hand techniques that form the foundation of the system
Whether you are interested in martial arts, self-defence, fitness or simply trying something new, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience one of the world's most respected martial arts for yourself.

As our children's class has grown significantly over the past month, I've decided that, for the time being, I'll only be accepting one more student.

This is to ensure I can continue providing every child with the attention, guidance, and high-quality instruction they deserve. My priority has always been maintaining the high standards of the school, rather than simply increasing class numbers. Keeping the class at a manageable size allows every student to get the most out of each session.

I can always put your name down on a waiting list.
