This week, our Year 11 BTEC Art students have been diving into the world of British art, drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Angie Lewin, Angela Harding, and Jeremy James. Through their study of these incredible talents, our students have been exploring themes of ambition, resilience, and the importance of community in their creative practice.
With these values in mind, they’ve been working hard to design their own unique prints, with the end goal of creating beautiful wrapping paper and printed fabric. This project not only showcases their artistic skills but also highlights how British values like creativity, determination, and unity play a vital role in shaping their work.
We can't wait to see the final pieces come to life, and we’re incredibly proud of their dedication and passion!
