TA-DA! 🎉 Our Kingsbury Vocabulary Book 📚✨

For any child preparing for the 11+ who wants to build a bigger, better vocabulary! 💙

We’re so proud of our Kingsbury Education 11+ Vocabulary Book! Created to help children collect, explore and really understand new words throughout their 11+ journey.

A strong vocabulary is important for both English and Verbal Reasoning but simply seeing a new word once isn’t enough! 🧠

Our book encourages children to dig a little deeper with every new word — exploring its meaning, word class, synonyms and antonyms, before using it in a sentence of their own.

This active approach helps children really get to know each new word. By writing, recalling and revisiting vocabulary, they can turn unfamiliar words into language they can confidently recognise, understand and use — creating a personal vocabulary bank that grows with them throughout their 11+ journey! 📖✨

One little book… lots of BIG words! 💙

The big day is nearly here! All our 11+ students have worked so, so hard (yes, and you too!) and we just wanted to wish everyone the very best of luck for tomorrow and beyond! 🚀

They have unlocked potential in themselves, worked hard towards a goal and shown so much perseverance! We're so proud of all of them! And no doubt you are too, working towards a goal is an amazing life lesson! 💪

We will be thinking of you all tomorrow morning, on results day and also when the school offers are sent out. It's been our pleasure to help and a big WELL DONE & THANK YOU! 😄 😄 Pete & Franny 💙👑

12 MOCK TESTS DONE! 🙌✨

Spring, summer and September — you’ve all worked SO hard and given it everything! 💪📚

Our Mock Tests are about so much more than the score. They give children the chance to experience real exam conditions — meeting new people, sitting in a big hall and experiencing what it feels like to sit 3 tests in a row (with a little snack and toilet break too! 😉).

Our detailed reports highlight the tricky areas, so children know exactly what they need to work on and improve before the next test. 📈

Now… bring on the real thing — but you’re READY! 🎓💪✨

We are SO proud of you all! 🥰❤️

📚 Mock Test #2 ... DONE! ✏️

Another fantastic morning with our Year 5 students, who are working incredibly hard in preparation for the BCP 11+ tests this September. We couldn't be prouder of the effort they're putting in! 🌟

So, what makes our Mock Tests different?

✅ We write every paper ourselves. Rather than using generic published papers, we create our own, allowing us to keep up with changes in question styles and ensure our tests reflect the current BCP 11+ format.

✅ The correct number of questions. Every paper mirrors the BCP tests, helping children build confidence with the pacing and expectations they'll experience on the real day.

✅ A realistic test environment. From arriving at a large hall, saying goodbye to parents at the door, sitting amongst children they don't know, and working under exam conditions, we recreate the experience as closely as possible. Reducing those 'unknowns' can make such a difference on the day of the real 11+.

✅ Detailed, personalised reports. Every child receives a comprehensive report highlighting their areas for improvement and the specific topics to focus on before their next Mock Test.

The countdown to September is on and we have Mock Tests running every week until the 11+ test! Each one is another opportunity to build confidence, improve exam technique and identify those final gaps.

If you'd like your child to feel fully prepared for exam day, we'd love to welcome them to one of our Summer and September Mock Tests and Intensive Coaching Sessions! 🫅

The countdown is ON! 94 days until the 11+ here in Poole and Bournemouth! We got you! 👍
