Rainy days have finally given way to sunshine, and we’ve been making the most of it! ☀️🌿

Here are a few snapshots of what we’ve been up to throughout May. From exploring the outdoors and enjoying nature to engaging in fun, hands-on activities, every day has been filled with opportunities to learn, discover, and create wonderful memories together.

We had a wonderful morning exploring Bournemouth Oceanarium. The children were excited to discover a wide variety of fascinating sea creatures, from colourful fish to other amazing marine animals. 🐠🐟
Visits like this provide a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about ocean life, develop their curiosity, and gain a greater appreciation for the natural world. It was a fun and educational experience enjoyed by everyone! 😍

🌟 Little Chefs at Miles Of Smiles Childcare 🌟

Today our little chefs enjoyed making their very own banana and strawberry smoothie! 🍌🍓

The children chopped the fruit into small pieces, added oats and coconut milk, then blended everything together in the smoothie maker. This hands-on activity supported their fine motor skills, independence, and understanding of healthy food choices—while having lots of fun!
Best of all… they loved drinking their delicious creations afterwards! 🤗💛

We’ve been making the most of the beautiful sunshine with a lovely nature walk, enjoying the fresh air and exploring the world around us. On our walk, we found a caterpillar too.🥰,🌞
