Miles of Smiles Offers childcare services to local families Within 5 miles of Poole. Hello! I enjoy working with children, it makes my life more full filled.

I am a reliable, understanding, and conscientious childcare professional who would always put children’s welfare before anything else as well as having a good sense of humour. I am the eldest child in our family; this means that I have been helping my parents with my siblings at a young age; this led me to be interested in working with children and I completed my level 3 childcare qualification in 2010. Over the past nine years, I have worked in various childcare settings as a nursery practitioner. During those years, I encountered challenges and the occasional setback in regards to my career. However, these challenging times have not stopped me wanting to help and work with children! I believe that each child is unique; and that each one has the potential to achieve their dreams later on in life. This means that I have skills and qualities to give your child/children different life experiences and important life skills which will continue as they grow. The Aim
Miles of Smiles is a place where children can feel secure and happy. It's a place that is creative and has a positive and loving atmosphere for children to grow and learn new skills through play. Miles of Smiles’ main purpose is to provide home from home childcare services to working parents; who have children aged between 6 months to five years. This support and care would be available before school as well as after school. My service would enable your child/children to gain important life skills and readiness for school. Today we explored mark making in a fun and creative way by rolling paint-covered balls around inside a cardboard box. The children enjoyed experimenting with different movements and watching the colourful patterns appear. This activity encouraged creativity, curiosity, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, while introducing early mark-making through play. I was so impressed with the wonderful artwork they created! 🎨😊 xx

Rainy days have finally given way to sunshine, and we’ve been making the most of it! ☀️🌿

We had a wonderful morning exploring Bournemouth Oceanarium. The children were excited to discover a wide variety of fascinating sea creatures, from colourful fish to other amazing marine animals. 🐠🐟
Visits like this provide a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about ocean life, develop their curiosity, and gain a greater appreciation for the natural world. It was a fun and educational experience enjoyed by everyone! 😍

🌟 Little Chefs at Miles Of Smiles Childcare 🌟

Today our little chefs enjoyed making their very own banana and strawberry smoothie! 🍌🍓

The children chopped the fruit into small pieces, added oats and coconut milk, then blended everything together in the smoothie maker. This hands-on activity supported their fine motor skills, independence, and understanding of healthy food choices—while having lots of fun!
Best of all… they loved drinking their delicious creations afterwards! 🤗💛

We’ve been making the most of the beautiful sunshine with a lovely nature walk, enjoying the fresh air and exploring the world around us. On our walk, we found a caterpillar too.🥰,🌞
