Childcare funding for your three and four year old...
All three and four year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of early education funding a week. Some working parents will be eligible for 30 hours of early education funding a week, providing you work at least 16 hours a week and earn less than Β£100k a year. Funding can be used with childminders, day nurseries and pre-schools.

Save a Baby's Life - free workshop...
Would you know what to do if a baby stopped breathing? The Royal Life Saving Society UK's 'Save a Baby's Life' workshop aims to teach basic emergency skills to anyone who cares for a baby.
You will learn:
infant life support (CPR)
infant choking (diagnosis and treatment)
infant drowning (diagnosis and treatment).

Did you know that you're eligible for extra (and fully backdated!) Universal Credit payments if your child gets DLA or PIP?
Make sure to tell Universal Credit if your child is awarded DLA/PIP or has an existing award increased.
The Disabled Child Addition is paid at two rates: Β£132.89 per month for each child on DLA/PIP, or Β£414.88 if they get the highest rate of the DLA care component or PIP daily living component at the enhanced rate.
This will be automatically backdated: either to the date when your Universal Credit claim started, or to when your child's DLA/PIP started (whichever is most recent).

Broadstone First and Middle School autism provision proposal...
From September 2022 Broadstone First and Middle School are looking to increase provision from 15 to 22 places in the resourced base at Broadstone Middle School and open a 14 place resourced base at Broadstone First School for children with autism spectrum condition with a secondary need of school cognition and learning needs (CLN) / social emotional mental health (SEMH - school phobia / anxiety).
