Our Year 4 children have been mastering the tricky world of decimals 🔢
Using concrete resources, they’ve been building numbers like 4.36 and 4.27 to really understand what lies beyond the decimal point. Mastering place value gives our children a brilliant foundation for solving complex, real-world math problems later on.
Have a look at these brilliant mathematical minds at work! 👇

This week, our Year 5 children enjoyed an exciting trip to Corfe Castle. During their visit, they explored the historic ruins and learned all about the castle's fascinating history, including what life was like for the people who lived and worked there many years ago.
We are very proud of how the children represented our school and would like to thank the staff and volunteers at National Trust Corfe Castle for making the visit so memorable!
