We’re hosting a relaxed drop-in at Muddy Boots Nursery (Bournemouth). This is a chance to meet the team, see the setting, and get a feel for how we do things. No formal interviews, just an opportunity to connect and explore what working with us could look like.

Muddy Boots loved being part of the Careers Fair at The Cornerstone Academy! 🌟

Two of our nursery managers were there representing our settings and early year, chatting with students about careers in early years and sharing what makes working with children such a rewarding path.

We’re looking for a committed Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Kinson. This is a year-round role, 35 hours per week, with a competitive salary and a strong package of staff benefits.

✨ School Admissions for September 2026✨

If your child is due to go to school in September 2026, you have probably already started thinking about their school place!

This year, the opening date has been moved to November to give families more time to explore schools before applying. (Swipe to see dates!)

✏️Many schools are already holding open evenings or offering bookable show rounds this is great way to see the classrooms, meet staff, and get a feel for the school. Check individual school websites for details.

✏️ For the BCP Council area, you can apply online via the BCP Parent Portal – just search “BCP school admissions portal”. (If you live outside BCP, you must apply through your own local authority, but can still include BCP schools in your choices).

It can be a bit tricky to know when your little one is eligible for childcare funding, so here’s a simple guide to make it clearer 👇

✨ Working families who qualify can claim 30 hours of funding starting from the term after their child turns 9 months old.

⭐ Remember — you’ll need to apply for your eligibility code on the GOV.UK website, so make sure you do this in plenty of time.
